I was feeling real crook until I saw that!
Imagine the goals we will let in though.
I'm warming to him.
My main concern is his only game plan seems to be 'Charge!'
Ndombele is on £120K a week with a large appearance bonus. He was also a player that outplayed the Man City midfields twice. There could have been a really good player in there and if he was around 10-15 years earlier he would be considered world class.
Maguire was an average English Defender whom had a couple of good seasons in a very counter attacking Leicester team so United overpaid him.
The fact is both players have brief moments which caused both clubs to buy him but Maguire could only go to a PL team and Ndombele could have gone anywhere and I am pretty sure if Poch was given time we would have seen a lot more of a player.
Well we're all disappointed that Ndombele didn't work out but he's had chances to shine.
I do not want Maguire to add to the shite we already have.

Based in Ndombele's quotes and Kane posting on his IG(yeah I know that's loose) the idea of Ndombele coming back for a final look has been in discussion for a while.
Just a hunch but gut feeling is Tanguy is a player that Postecoglou singled out as wanting to see personally.
What will he learn looking at him in preseason? We know he has skills and some ability but he doesn't do it in matches.
We won't be. Maguire is 30 and everyone knows he would be an expensive gamble to try get him back to any sort of player. Also he cannot play the current managers system and was being linked before the current manager was appointed. The fact is most journalists are so desperate to fill up space or get enough clicks they will print anything.
Take the Kane to Real Madrid Story for example I have read aggregators quote about 20 different stories that they are interested in Kane, but for a fact I know that their is a Spending to Revenue Cap in Spain and that for Real Madrid to bid for Kane whom is 30 next month is very unlikely. Real Madrid would look at Kane the same way they did Rudiger and Alaba who if they were to sign it would have to be free transfer. So I have looked at most the Kane articles and thought they were BS and any sane club would wait a year. Also the fact Kane now counts as a non-EU and you can only have 3 of them in your match day squad was another fact that came to my mind.
I think Maguire would be a great signing for us.
If it's a choice between a plan to sit back and defend all game like the last few seasons or 'Charge!' then I'm fine with 'Charge!'
He will get a feel for how the person reacts to him and if he feels he has the ability to coach him and get a tune.
Man U are desperate to get rid of Maguire, so if he's cheap, free and he will take a paycut, Levy will definitely be interested. RM always seem to find a way around these things, I don't want to lose Kane to them on a free, I'd rather they pay now.
Do they have a player that we could take as a part exchange for Kane?
Sad to say no one will pay now unless we looking to take £40-50M fact is the only way to make a £100M sustainable is with a 5 year deal which means your are depreciating at £20M a year which will not happen because he is 30. If we decide to let Kane leave it will have to be for a lot less and we cannot replace him for that kind of cash.
Re Maguire - he’s definitely become underrated from his time at Utd. With all the Twitter chatter and from watching his highlights (more aptly lowlights) you’d be forgiven for thinking he’s the worst defender in the league.
In fact I’d have been OK with his signing last summer in a back 3.

1) He’s 30. I don’t mind signing experience but not someone who’s looking to rebuild their career and confidence.
2) His style doesn’t really fit with what we can see Ange likes.
3) We should absolutely not be signing players because Kane wants them (if true). If we have a strategy we stay true to that and don’t flex it because Harry asks.

If Ange isn't in his role until July 1st then it's still one position we could fill regardless.
There is no way Levy will let Kane for 40-50m, he would rather lose him on a free next year.
