Levy is levy. I don’t like him but he’s not leaving. Ange can leave. Simple as that. Change what is possible. Ange is not a premier league level manager
Stop with the Mason nonsense

We have no hope. We're on a slippery slope now. There's no recover. No turn in form. No shock cup win. He's finished.
Ange is not that though. He's won things in leagues that have no history or pecking order. And Celtic. He's achieved nothing special, nor has he ever even held a position particularly long. People say give him time. To do what? Most of his jobs bar Australia were 1-3 years.
I said and stuck to it, that Liverpool with 9 men very nearly got something from us. We got beat 4-1 and only because Vicario kept cutting their breaks out. A half decent in form forward for them that day and it would have been a cricket score.
Rangers fans will sing getting sacked in the morning if we lose. Ultimate insult. I dont want him in charge of my club anymore. Thats my personal preference though.
Im not Ange’s biggest fan at the moment but he should stay the season and see how things shape up, we have been doing well in the Europa League so maybe that’s the focus this season. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO USE IN SACKING HIM NOW.
We’ve not been good in Europa. We’ve beaten 3 shite sides and didn’t win against the 2 okay teams we faced.Im not Ange’s biggest fan at the moment but he should stay the season and see how things shape up, we have been doing well in the Europa League so maybe that’s the focus this season. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO USE IN SACKING HIM NOW.
I agree the timing is very weirdIm not Ange’s biggest fan at the moment but he should stay the season and see how things shape up, we have been doing well in the Europa League so maybe that’s the focus this season. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO USE IN SACKING HIM NOW.
hes embarrassed himself by coming here. hes not getting a top job again thats for sure.Yep, we lost game after game last season particularly towards the end, getting battered by Newcastle, Liverpool etc, and then when we faced City and had the chance of handing (or denying) the goons a league title, that was when he chose to give it some to the fans, about where was our winning mentality! Yet we were only put in that horrible position which none of us wanted, because he had presided over some awful results which saw CL slip away, and he had the gall to call out the fans?
The fans had nothing left to play for because he had lost too many games ffs. he's an odious prick.
In fairness, Dragusin started all the Europa and cup games so he was rotating in midweek. Davies was used as a left back and Gray as a right back too when we had everyone fit. Unfortunately, Davies has been used as a centre back now so one of Udogie/Porro has to play every single game. They clearly don't rate Spence for whatever reason.Ok, but playing devils advocate..
Could VDV or Romero have possibly spent less time injured if Ange made use of Dragusin when they were both fit? The bloke only really came in when they were both injured?
Could he avoid injuries to Porro by allowing Spence on the pitch?
Or is it just simply that you feel those players for example are just that bad that they aren’t of the required quality to rotate?
It’s not helpful in regards to injuries for players like VDV when your tactics appear to amount to “play up on the half way line, and if they get through us, Micky will sprint after them”.
I agree with you tbh. 2-0 up today and we are just still gung ho. I was even thinking we need to go 3-0 up because there is a goal coming and if it goes 2-1 then I nearly fancy them to comeback and win.. We don't manage the game right at all and he's not changing so it does feel like the endYour opinion i respect. But imo i think hes burning players out. Had it last season. Lack of balance in his tactics. Its not working.
Surely Matt Wells would be more likely as a caretaker?
That’s fair enough. Like him or dislike him isn’t really the issue (it’s a personal view on the man)I do. He’s a thin skinned surly halfwit who can’t take criticism. He’s come unstuck in the big league and is lashing out at all and sundry. Speaks volumes to how fragile the man’s ego is.
And his in game management sucks the big one.
Wheres this narrative coming from that weve been good in the EL? Weve scraped over some poor teams and the half decent ones gala and roma weve been dreadfulIm not Ange’s biggest fan at the moment but he should stay the season and see how things shape up, we have been doing well in the Europa League so maybe that’s the focus this season. Yep we can agree on thatThat’s fair enough. Like him or dislike him isn’t really the issue (it’s a personal view on the man)
I prefer to say he’s out of his depth and is weirdly obsessed with sticking to a system regardless of whether it works or not. Refusing to change this where it’s not working is the sackable bit.
I'd be curious to know if "No Plan B" is real. If Postecoglou really doesn't adjust for opponent or game situation then we are in uncharted waters, even aside from the challenges this season with injuries. If you asked him for a sincere answer (not one that he would give in front of journalists to ingratiate himself with Levy) he would probably ask for an entire overhaul of the squad. He would maybe make an exception for <5 players, but I really think he's content at best, unhappy at worst with most of the current squad. But again, that's just another truism. Every manager would like to upgrade their GK, CB or any other position if given the opportunity. The question is whether Ange has done anything in his career or in his tenure here to justify that kind of an invesment for his 'project'. My answer is no. He has a resume where even Celtic, a team leagues below us, looks like an anomaly compared to rest. If you had spent over two decades in Australia and Japan, you have no leverage to ask for marquee signings worth dozens of millions. You need to earn that respect. And he hasn't done anything that would remotely justify him getting that kind of support. So the question of whether he's properly backed or not becomes a moot point IMO
