I think today was the first instance of real kamikaze football where it was just pure chaos, Brighton was nothing like that imo. We still get done over with comical individual errors though, we still had to create our 2 goals after the slips, on the other hand we give away 2 penalties where it borders on playing a video game and repeteadly hitting the tackle button, almost like Bissouma and Sarr wanted to give them away they were that clumsy.

If he wasn't 60 I would think that he started management by playing Football Manager. This is not an insult, he genuinely reminds of a novice FM player. Searching the forums for a ready-made, plug and play tactic that would win him majority of matches, to allow him to steamroll through competitions. Helplessly searching forums for an explanation when he's not getting the results he thinks he's entitled to. Lashing out at forum members , developers and anybody else he thinks are responsible for his struggles. Too scared to try to change anything, and if he does change something it's usually in the direction of doubling down.

We don’t need to sit in. We need players to take a moment, not play such a chaotic mess of a press constantly and keep the ball for periods of the game.
No top, successful side will be 2-0 up in a pinball type game against quality opposition with players who can change games and STILL keep the game as chaotic as it was.
This needed some game management badly. It was always up in the air whilst both teams were playing like that. Chelsea have quality attackers who will change the game if you roll the dice.
Just fucking take a breather, slow it down, take the sting out of them and MANAGE A FUCKING MATCH .. you know .. like a MANAGER!

As someone who has followed Ange's work closely since his Melbourne Victory days, the big glaring weakness in his coaching is that he doesn't do any tactical work. A lot of people brushed off Eric Dier comments from April of this year when he stated this to sky in an interview.
The best managers have a clear philosophy of how they want their teams to play. However they make adjustments to their approach based on the strengths and weakness of the opposition. Ange does not do this. This is why you see widely fluctuating results.
The best manager at this is Pep. As Vincent kompany said in an interview with Gary Neville on the overlap, "I've never worked with a manager as obsessed with the opposition as Pep". Pep's core philosophy of possession based football doesn't change. However he makes adjustments to thier approach based on his intimate understanding of the opposition including the individual traits of each player.
