Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I get the feeling towards Levy, I really do.

But abusing our new manager before he’s had a season with us is out of order.

Fine, blame Levy for the situation the club is in - I won’t argue otherwise.

But ALL spurs fans (regardless of any misgivings) should be backing the new manager.

And that is all I’m going to say on the matter.
To be fair your right, he deserves to at least get in the door and have a chance.
I still don't think he's the right man, but I should give him a chance, so thanks for the attitude readjustment. See we can disagree and still get on and sometimes even teach each other something 👍

The issue I have is that Celtic have better players than the rest of the league, so it would be more comparable if Ange came to the this league to manage Manchester City.

Put it like this, would he have won anything in Scotland had he been the manager of a team like Hearts?

Bit of a ridiculous argument.

Would Guardiola have won anything had he been the manager of Valencia? Wolfsburg?

A great coach is a great coach. Reminds me of that argument that Bielsa couldnt be considered a good coach because of his honours list or managed a big club despite plenty of managers in the game praising him as well as those who have played under him.

When anti-Semitism is uncovered let's call it out. We know what you are now.

Didn't know anything about that actually, he's a parasite as in the definition...

an organism that lives in or on an organism of another species (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the other's expense.

In otherwords sucks us dry and gives nothing back, so stop searching the Internet for random connections. His religion or beliefs have no part to play in this, just his shit skills at running a football club...

I'm just saying it's going to be different from managing the best team in Scotland (apart from the one year when Gerrard was at Rangers) to managing us here being at 8th place, with richer clubs around us.

Just read your link, that's fucking evil and to suggest someone who dislikes a football chairman thinks that way is fucked up...
So go fuck yourself you slimy prick, this has nothing to do with religion or anyones beliefs.
It's about a bloke who is shit at running a football club, a parasite who sucks the club dry and gives nothing back...on the football side of things, you know the important part. Not the shiny stadium or training ground that I now really couldn't care less about

Different, sure. But a great coach is a great coach. He's proven he can get his coaching, his methods and instill a philosophy over a team in three different countries at three different levels completely.

He might not win what he's won in previous counties because in this country he's competing against three clubs that are richer than we'll likely ever be (Newcastle, Man Utd and Man City) on top of three other clubs that are 'bigger' than us (Woolwich, Liverpool and Chelsea).

He'll fuck off the players who can't play high pressing football and not suited. And build a squad that can. Which ultimately sets us up better for the future regardless. If we can sneak a cup win on that journey, despite competing against those other 6 than even better.

That's all well and good but where are the new players going to come from, Japan or some other weak league?

It's there in black and white you cunt. Own the words you use. No one typed them but you!

Are you going to continue with that language on here? Looks from your response that's exactly what you intend to do. It's quite incredible that you would do that having read the link! Your choice of words is disgusting. It's clear what you are now.

I think aslong as the players are suited to what we're wanting to achieve and the way we play, it doesn't really matter as Brighton have proven really.

It's about finding the right played who fit. Not signing someone from stronger leagues just because. We've done that plenty of times and it's bitten us.

So why bother with Maddison then?

Let's get someone from Tonga instead.

His response by using the word AGAIN having admitted to reading the link tells what he is.
Oh come on guys, call it out where it clearly exists, but don't just make it up. Look, I disagree with 99% of what this guy has written on this thread, but his use of the word 'parasite' (note that it was 'parasite' and not 'Jewish parasite' as explained in your link) was perfectly ok in the context in which he was using it, and had no anti-Semitic meaning unless someone was deliberately going looking for one. He clearly just means that he thinks Levy sucks the life & success out of the club. I don't agree with him on that, and think it's a harsh word to use, but re-reading his post I don't for one second believe that he meant anything beyond the 'usual' meaning of the word 'parasite', and anyone claiming otherwise is just trying to create an issue where there isn't one.

Hands up anyone on here that wants to use that term having read the link I've posted?

He already has.

Are you?

Well, it's indicative of the massive step up in quality of player that Postecoglou can now afford....or the price he's going to have to pay for the same players now it's a PL team he's buying for...
Aswell as the step up in quality of the players who Postecoglou will now have to face. Btw, nothing has suggested so far that Postecoglou knows where to shop at this level. He might’ve gotten away with a few of his former Japanese players because SPL is closer to the quality of the Japanese league, but it won’t be the case anymore at Tottenham.

Will also be interesting if he can adapt himself to the brutal requirements of EPL, which is much less forgiving than SPL, or to put it right, Celtic in SPL.

Bielsa is good at coaching & also a very flawed person which is why he doesn’t get top jobs where he could win something.

Very good managers have learned stuff from them, refined it, and not been psychos. There’s a reason he’s always coached at a certain level.

The two are not the same. The word 'parasite' on its own has a meaning that the guy has already posted above. It's only when you add the word 'Jewish' in front that it takes on a different meaning. For fuck sake, there is far too much of this in the world already - stop trying to twist people's words to create offence. He didn't use the term 'Jewish parasite', and hopefully neither he nor anyone else on here will ever do so. The word 'parasite' however is a totally legitimate word with a different meaning when used without the 'Jewish' prefix.

I’m pretty sure he’ll know where to shop! You don’t call to primark when you can go to Armani!! It’s all about the pennies 🤣
