Wow I hadn’t seen he was up to 69%. That’s as unanimous as it get’s.

It’s a tough one for me because I really like him as a coach and he’s consistently out-performed his wage budget everywhere he’s been so there’s definitely positives,

But he’s never coached a team in a European competition so would be learning on the job when it comes to getting that intensity twice a week and he’s never actually won anything and that’s what I want to see us do.

I think he’s a Barcelona coach in waiting but he either needs to do another season in Bournemouth and smash it coaching them in Europe, or he needs to choose his next job very carefully.

I

I love you Richard

I disagree with you on many things but you are a good guy
Love you too mate. I’d be annoyed if we agreed on more things.

Happy New Year!!

I love this brief fleeting moment in the hours before new year where enough alcohol has flowed for a sprouting of good will and bonhomie and good cheer to all men.

By 11:30 it'll be back to proper cunting off we all prefer and deserve :D

Competitive, yes, but also a few of the ‘big’ teams are misfiring. It’s quite an open league (except Liverpool!), it’s just a shame we’re not good enough to take advantage of that.

The big teams are “misfiring” partly because everyone else is making it much harder to fire. ManC would still be cruising in the top 2 on autopilot in years gone by even with their issues.

Every week we are seeing interesting and unpredictable results, lots of teams are using sophisticated recruitment, coaching, tactics etc

I've checked his CV. He has been managing for just 6 years. S.I.X years. He has not won anything. Zip.

And that's the guy that is going to lead Spurs to the promised land?

Man UTD are the case in point.

Amorim is a good manager... Has the European experience everyone says Ange lacks, is tactically adaptable (whatever the fuck that actually means) and has taken UTD backwards. In the short term maybe (we will see about that) but goes to show that changing a manager now is very far from guaranteeing a better outcome for this season.

One thing it definitely will do is continue the culture of giving up on managers when things get bumpy. That is the only thing we KNOW it will achieve.
Ange has been good for 10 games at the start. Since then it's been a downward trajectory and he's had 18 months that's enough to get us doing much better than we are. His system is suicidal and he doesn't learn from his mistakes. He needs replacing. United have been a shit show for a while they need a complete clear out and as I'm spurs I couldn't give a shit about them.
