I don’t know what to say other than people genuinely believe we were good even when we had Romero and VdV. We were a bit better but still not even up to par then.

It’s ok though- we just have to let it all crash really thoroughly so everyone can agree it’s done. Well, so be it.

Agree. It's actually mental. It's just going to continue getting worse, or just stay the same. I mean, it can't really get any worse than 1 win in 8. So we just have to let nature take its course and the Ange in deluded will eat themselves.

What will probably happen is Ange will get sacked at some point, and they will still say he was prematurely sacked and if he had a bit more time, he'd have turned it around lol.

Meanwhile, the rest of us just want a proper manager who is actually worth getting behind, installed.

After Woolwich we have a relatively soft run of games vs Everton, Leicester, Brentford, ManUtd, and Ipswich. I don’t think Ange will get canned before then. I expect us to lose vs Woolwich, and draw vs Everton. Out of those last four games, you’d really expect us to be able to win vs Leicester and Ipswich, and hopefully get at least a point against Brentford or United. I would say less than 8 points in the next 6 games should be sackable. Anybody else have any expectations/predictions for that run?

It's dramatic, but the very fact that people are talking about it shows just how bad Ange is doing.

I mean, on SC people are actually digging up Southampton's ppg to show we aren't quite that bad.

It sums it all up for me. The bar has got so low under Ange, that people defending him are now digging up the bottom league side's form, to somehow show that we arne't going to get relegated.

You've all totally lost the plot, and IMO are willing to see Spurs keep losing under this fraud manager, rather than admit you were wrong about Ange.

Follow the argument, you can read can't you?
Yes, I see that you were arguing about relegation.

But you insinuated that you don't see our form continuing as it is.

I don't understand why you would say that, when our form is as it has been for 14 months.

Ange is a charlatan, and not being so shite that we get relegated really shouldn't be the barometer for success at the 8th richest club in the world.

None of this has any correlation to what we're discussing, if you're gonna vent do so but don't include me in your crap over emotional rant, cheers.

We’ll probably win the first leg 2 1 or something to give us hope and keep him in the job a bit longer before being smashed 4 nil away from home.

That is exactly what will happen. A narrow home win against their reserves, and all the Ange fans will start masturbating, before they bring on the big guns at Anfield and absolutely batter us.

And by then we'll be in February and will have lost another 3 or 4 league games.

Even if our form continues like this we're not getting relegated.

if you don't understand why I said it then you haven't read the fucking argument properly.

At this point we're not even talking about fucking Ange, the discussion is merely about prirotising EL or the Premier League and if we're not in danger of being relegated then why would you prirotise the Prem over the EL, it's honestly such an ill thought dickhead argument, the only reason why you'd argue otherwise because you're an emotional mess and your thinking about doomsday scenarios for this club

Absolute losers

Iraola would at least be a remotely similar football philosophy but agree, he's never coached or played twice a week in his career and realistically his teams outperforming their wage budget is fantastic but it's not that simple.

If they really want to sack Ange it needs to be a genuinely special coach coming in and a coach who wants to continue with the direction we have started off in.
Mate Iraola played more than 500 games for Bilbao he would have consistently played twice a week for them. He has played under some of the best coaches and managers the game has to offer.

Why do we need a genuine special coach to replace Ange Postecoglou...who is underachieving.

We just need to make sure the next manager has a similar Idea but is capable at this level

You always need to get to 40 points or so. You can never ever take for granted PL status. Yes it's unlikely, but when we can't even buy a win, I'd rather not take the chances.

I don't want to be sitting here in May going "shucks, we should have maybe taken the league games more seriously!, oh well, Leeds away next season"

Furthermore, we aren't winning any fucking cups under Ange. It's deluded to think we are.
