I feel sad for him. He is a dreamer and has his principles. He finds himself in a grim situation. No one wants to see romance die. Especially at Spurs, where we sort of live and die by those special moments, but eventually reality has to bite.

I think you can say the players are drained if they're still trying to play the managers 'tactics', I don't think we leave one drained today, we looked clueless. That's worse to me than anything else. We don't have a plan, we don't play patterns, we don't play a certain way, we look clueless, uncoached. As I said earlier or in a other thread, as bad as we were under Mourinho or conté, we looked dangerous on the counter. With Ange we don't even counter. It shows how fucking good Kane is. And fuck Daniel Levy.
watch the spirit that forest show compared to spurs. its night and day. ones a group of players that are happy and fired up under a manager, the others are just waiting for a fat cunt to be sacked.

we will see a nice bounce when he goes, which is why if its now (maybe im stupid) but id fancy us in the league cup and europa. we have some decent players.

Right I hear all this but throwing players under the bus is stretching it, he actually did say it's also on him to fix.

He also said that we were ‘passive’ and our performance was ‘unacceptable’ but was clueless as to why and what he could do to address it

He isn’t capable so why persist and don’t say ‘Mason?’

And just remember, this performance tonight came off the back of being taken to ET by tamworth, and we were a decent connection away from being knocked out in injury time.

I mean, it's quite surreal the guy is still in the job. I just don't understand what the board are doing. The signs were there October 2023. I said he should have been sacked in the summer, then every month since then, but no.

Serious question marks have to be asked of the club and how they have let Ange get away with this for so long and they've kept faith. The patient thing to do? Or pure incompetence? Pretty obvious which one it is.

Angeball requires two complete sides capable of starting in the top 6 / 8 in the EPL to be successful over the medium to long term.

The players are not able to physically sustain the level of intensity required by Angeball without breaking down. Angeball requires lots of rotation.

That's whats been driving me crazy these past few months.. The results on there own would be more than bad enough.. But then I look around and expect the reaction from others to be the same.. That this is a disaster and can't continue... But I was hearing "trust the process" or "these so called fans who are questioning the manager". It's like being in the twilight zone.
If you put aside all the silly Twitter tacticos who are simply contrary and like to present themselves as gatekeepers of profound footballing knowledge (when, in actual fact, they're just cunts), I think a lot of long suffering Spurs fans were prepared to give this guy as much time as possible.

We were sick to the back fucking teeth of Levy's chopping and changing. Conte had served up months of murder ball and talked the club down and, with Ange, we had a positive, avuncular Aussie, who represented good times and good, attacking football.

But I have no fucking idea how people can still think is working. That football is just vibes and, as long as you want it enough, it will all click. It doesn't work like that. You have to be exceedingly clever and operate in the finest details. Also, his coaching team is fucking risible.

I dunno. Depressing.

LEVY OUT.

Is there actually a scenario where you would also think he ain't up to it?
Not having a go, but we're at a pretty low point right now, so how much lower would you say is acceptable?

I dont care in the sense that I've seen too many managers come and go with nothing to show for it. My philosophy has always been to back whoever the manager is until they are sacked and the new guy is hired.

Right now I see a squad with no world class players. At least in the past we had a Lineker, a Klinsmann, a Ginola, a Berbatov, a Bale, a Modric, a Kane.......now I just see a bunch of young players, inexperienced in the PL players, the manager was hired despite having no PL experience, the club is going through a wage reduction phase, we are nowhere near being challengers for the top 4 or any trophies but yes we shouldn't be where we are in the league right now either

If Ange is sacked tomorrow then it won't be any surprise and yes it might temporarily bring a change of fortunes in the league but long term nothing much will change imo

Embarrassing? It's only football, we are only fans with no real say about what happens at the club. I've supported this club before Ange, before Enic, Ive seen a relegation dogfight before, 36 years as a fan and only 1 fa cup and 2 league cups in that time

Being a Spurs fan is largely misery, you are probably a new fan who has got used to being in the top 5 over the last 10 years,....where were you in the 90's and 2000's?

Maybe not everyone is as old as you 🙄

Same shit, different day, essentially.

What a bunch of boring nonsense.

Pretty sure hooking Biss and Sarr and placing control of midfield in Bergvalls hands suggests he's not blaming the "young players" for the 1st half performance.

Problem he has is that he can't afford to hook Kulu or Son
My point is this: saying the the players are not executing the plan feels like casting too wide a net. It also overlooks the possibility that they are following his instructions—it’s just the plan itself that’s failing.
