Paul O'keefe said he thinks it's to do with a takeover. Don't want to look like a basket case if there are talks with potential investors. Ironic considering what we look like at this moment

Also as well, any new investors will want their own say on who the new manager is when they come in.

It was rumoured a few months ago in the press that if it’s Amanda Staveley coming in, she wants Eddie Howe

Yeah when newcastle got taken over they kept on Bruce because they wanted to bring their own man in even though he was presiding over awful results much like ours now.

Not that I believe we are being sold though at all, but wishful thinking and all that.

Either that or he just doesn’t know what to do so is doing nothing in the hope it gets better…..
I’m a regular fan like everyone else and even I can see there are two ways: he either spends good money to create a proper team or he cycles through managers until he draws the lucky ticket and stumbles upon another manager like Poch who can work with his tight ass strategy "model". If he can’t see this he’s beyond fucking hopeless.

I agree. Something feels massively off. It all feels so unLevy like.

Either that or he just doesn’t know what to do so is doing nothing in the hope it gets better…..which is of course still doing something.
I think it’s undoubtedly the latter.

Even if he doesn’t believe in Ange, he needs to convince others (and possibly himself) that he does, because sacking him would be admitting he has got it wrong yet again and would potentially turn up the heat on him further, as opposed to what usually happens when he sacks a manager and it reduces the pressure on him.

His years of ineptitude and mismanagement of the football side of Spurs is finally coming home to roost.

Been on this site since mid-October, posting, reading and after 3 months I have come to the conclusion this site for most part attracts children who like shouting insults at one another in the playground. Rarely have I read 2-3 consecutive posts that debate before the insults prevail.

Enjoy your game kids!

Sack Ange...don't even bother with the usual "we thank him & wish him well" bullshit statement. Fuck him.

Phone Zidane up. Beg. And beg again. Tell him he'll be allowed to walk for the France NT job in Sept '26. Give him what Pep's on. Put it down on a legally-binding doc that you'll do everything he asks during his tenure. Then wake Lange the eff up and tell him to go sign the 3 or 4 players Zizou needs right now. No haggling, pay the friggin fees & wages...even if they're Real level.

See how all of a sudden we become a proper top club, climb up the league table and win a cup.

Bur Levy.
love zidane, prob my fave ever player. would not want him as manager. it worked at madrid because that team/squad was so good it pretty much ran itself. i think we need someone whos tactically astute to the modern game. not sure zidane fits this? you get the impression his job at madrid was just to provide an aura for that joke of a squad to respect and impress.

zidane works if you have a team/squad that is top 3 in the world. we need a manager thats going to put graft in.

We have everton and leicester next. I'm guessing they probably think we win those and then players should be back from injury so they will hold off pulling the trigger.

Let's see what happens Sunday if we don't win.

Who cares about the football side ? not those that hold the keys ENIC & Levy
yes CL money is nice But you have to make it a long way to get good money (and to make it a long way needs buying & paying Good players, and that would soak up a lot of the extra money from CL)
Aslo as the club ticks over and makes a profit its money in the bank to ENIC & Levy (they paid £30M and using the clubs money have turned that in to £4Bn they are laughing all the way to the bank)
