Having watched the whole presser, this headline is no more than BS.

He said it many occasions, " I worry about what I can control , and I don't expect assurances from anyone ". Basically saying that there are no guarantees in life.

Glad he didn't give those media cunts a chance to demean the SPL or the J League. " Step up " is all relative. The PL is the biggest comp in the world but also has the most resources.

He gets it.. and soon the snide journos will.

About time a first time Premier League manager wasn't gushing in awe of its excellence.

The comment of it all being relative is powerful and likely not to be recognised by the media desperate to push the whole "most competitive league in the world" narrative when it's really about as competitive as Germany at the top, just the bottom 10 'put themselves about a bit against the big boys'.

I think it says a lot about his character and values. I'm all for it.
 
I’m surprised to see, after a quick whip around, that there’s more coverage of the press conference in Scotland than in the Australian press, where the soccer inches of the sports pages (a limited commodity) are currently dominated by the Women’s World Cup.

This is why I always listened to what Ange says before reading the headlines. The hacks in the media are pure scum and want to see him fail. We have utter cretins in the press in Scotland. They are human garbage. I'd doubt the English press were any better.

They word the questions in to hook the manager in to get a quote to twist back. Press hacks truly are dogsh!t to me. I can't hide my utter contempt for them. It's a good job that Ange is smarter than them and he doesn't forget a face or a voice.
