We are going nowhere with this manager, when all our senior players and his favourites come back they will be ahead of all the talented younger players.... (Wrongly so in my opinion).. Because they and injuries are postecoglou's excuse for poor performances and results.

He will then get sacked because results will only improve in the short term... And we will be fucking about around mid table not knowing what to do.

Bournemouth decimated by injuries

Doesn't seem to be stopping them

I know we can't be expected to compete with the likes of Bournemouth but food for thought nonetheless
Yep, ton of injuries and he doesnt sit there whining about it or being passive aggressive. He goes and stuffs 2 of the top form sides in the country in consecutive weeks and sits a point off the top 4. With Bournemouth. That is top management not the PR exercise and self preservation we've witnessed in the same timeframe.

Yeah I agree, I watched Bournemouth do Newcastle very impressed.
Even without our injuries with a full squad to choose from, we lose games in a similar manner.
The team looks under coached, defending is weak and, the patterns of passing are weak.
Ange is getting away with it, I think that's because, many in our fanbase are fed up with changing manager and, hoodwinked by the injury thing but it's an excuse.

If there's anyone here doesn't recognise the difference between a coach in his 40s doing what Iraola is with the smallest club in the EPL as opposed to Postecoglou achievements with Scotlands biggest in the fucking Scottish league...at 60 well. It's embarrassing how we got here but we need to fix it in the summer with Iraola. He is going places

Based on current form, trend points wise and the remaining fixtures, I'm pretty far from sure we will stay up if we keep Ange in charge.

The only thing really saving us is simply how bad Wolves and Ipswich are. I really have a hard time seeing us get passed by both of them en route to a relegation, but it is possible. The main threat right now I think are injuries to key players more than anything else. Unfortunately- that's exactly what happened to Solanke.

If it wasn't for Gray, Spence and now Bergvall, our squad would have collapsed by now. Throw Dragusin in there for me too. The young players are absolutely saving Ange's ass right now- I guess simply by being able to stay fit. I'd say they've all been proven good signings by now.

It's not good enough though mate....we are sleep walking and not picking up points.

We just lost to Everton. It's a big if to even say we will win to Leicester, we drew to wolves at home ...where are we going to get these points from.

We will lose close to 20 games this season under this manager.

When the injured players are back and we still look like a sloppy pile of steaming dogs hit, guaranteed it will be because they're not up to speed and we won't see the best of them until after next pre-season.

Ipswich 7 points in the last 10 games
Wolves also 7 points in the last 10
Leicester 4 points in the last 10
Spurs 5 points in the last 10

8 points down and 16 games to go
If the trend of these teams continue it will be v
Spurs 32 points
Wolves 27
Ipswich 27
Leicester 20

Ok we'll make it..

We're on pace to scrape it, just barely. Way too damn close though- and we actually need to win Premiership games.

If the board have anything about them, they surely would be doing their homework on potential candidates.
Ange's naive football, is all show and no substance.
It will work in adelaide or the northern territory league but not here, ultimately it is a flawed project that we just need to see through for a couple of months.

The way it's going he'll have his pick of the litter, and not just in England.
Which of the big boys will be hiring though?

Pep is starting to look a bit more secure again, not that he was in danger.

The Goons might finally realise Legohead is at his peak and he'll never push them on. So maybe.

Amorim might find his head on the chopping block maybe but it would be awfully quick.

Can't see Howe losing his head or hands, they're doing ok.

I dont really follow Serie A so can't say if anyone will be hiring there.

Spain is the main thought I believe- RM will be hiring in the summer and I guess it's not set in stone that it will be Alonso? Bilbao would be another, and obviously Barca or Atletico Madrid too. I could also see Chelsea firing Maresca and hiring Iraola simply to fuck us over at an absolutely critical time once again. I doubt Iraola would be interested to go to Italy or Germany at this juncture- he's got a good pick of jobs coming up soon- why not take the chance at a mega club if you can? The chance rarely comes twice...
