Deki sending couple punches into Levy direction - good to see.

But him saying he loves system... Guess he likes it cause he does not need to care about tactics anymore, he just takes the ball and loses it many times without any consequences from manager. Quite opposite to what he used to in Italy and later under Conte.
Have to say I was surprised by this. He seemed to be one of the few players with their head screwed on.

To be honest, just cause some of these guys are good at kicking a ball doesn't make them good tactically. We've seen enough ex-players who've failed as managers to know that. Romero likes Ange? Yeah no shit, because he lets him wander where he wants on the pitch, never calls him out, and evidently doesn't care whether he marks his man in the penalty area.

Let's see what they're all coming out with once Ange is out the door and they have a guy who can actually set up a defence, like Iraola. I have a feeling we'll get the real dirt then on this nonsense chaos-ball.

Edit: just seen Kulu was sat next to Ange when he said this. You can basically ignore everything he said then.

Oh yeah I completely agree with that. This formation barely suits anyone in our squad.

Son is an inside forward who likes to run in behind, but Ange shunts him out on the wing.

Brennan likewise; inside forward on at Forest, dangerous on the counter; I know! Let's spend 50m on him and play him in a possession based system where he's spends the game on the touchline with no space to operate and is tasked with taking on fullbacks from a standing start (which he's crap at)! Great recruitment Spurs, great talent ID Ange.

(Also shame on those of you who spent the last few years shouting down criticism of Brennan just cos he scores the odd tap-in, when he's so obviously not at our level. Unsurprisingly it was plenty of those same names who are now the Ange-inners who evidently must watch the game with their brain disengaged. It was obvious to anyone with an iota of ball-knowledge from his Forest highlights Brennan was going to be a terrible fit in this system).

Kulu, another inside forward with talent, but Ange forces him out wide or in the #8 and he's not perfectly suited to either. Despite what people claim he still hasn't got the positioning right in midfield and we're often very open centrally when he plays there. He's best in a narrow-ish front three on the right, and another who suits counter attacking football best, hence why his best time here is still that first 6 months under Conte.

Our fullbacks are all natural wingbacks at heart. Yet Ange forces them to all play in this stupid inverted #10 role he "invented" (and nobody else uses - I wonder why) and they all look like fish out of water.

We don't have any natural single-pivot #6's. All of our DM options have drawbacks in the role. So we could do what Slot does—or Pep when he doesn't have Rodri, or Arteta, with his inverting—and play a double pivot? Nah let's force Bentancur/Bissouma into an ill-fitting role where they have too much work to do and are constantly exposed. Genius.

Ultimately, the great managers adapt their system to suit their players. Ferguson, Pep, Ancelotti - always changing their formations to get the best out of the players at hand.

Mediocre managers try to force ill-fitting players into a rigid system (Amorim, Conte). Sometimes they'll have success when all the stars align, but when it goes bad it goes really bad.

Bad managers have a shit system to begin with, are inflexible with it, and buy the wrong players for it.

Guess which one we've got.
spot on! refreshing to actually read from someone who knows what the fuck they are talking about, you'd think it was rocket science at times.

of courseeee the idiots that think postecoglou is an actual football manager were the ones defending johnson! an idiot is an idiot! it covers everything.

this postecoglou experience has been something incredible to be honest. the idiot spurs fans i know personally who still wanted him in up until a couple weeks ago, ive lost all respect for their opinions when it comes to talking about football. and for them to be this thick with something they are meant to be passionate about ive actually lost respect for them as people all together. sad really, its exposed utter fucking morons.

I actually can’t believe what I’m seeing when I see on sky sports news that Ange has one win in 11 PL games.

I’m actually stunned he hasn’t been sacked yet. Absolutely mental. 1 win in the last 11 PL games.
Fuck me
Well you see, we’ve sacked too many managers recently so he gets away with it

Means fuck all. Kulu could keep saying that as we slide into the championship. What do we do then? "Oh it's alright we got relegated, Kulu was right behind him until the end so that is all that matters. " Whilst Kulu has a relegation release clause and fucks off to Woolwich.

I mean the Ange inners are getting desperate now, The only place they have left to turn, is that the players are saying all the right things, whilst their fraudulent manager sits next to them in a press conference.

How about fuck that. Let's appoint a manager who knows how to win PL games consistently.
What’s interesting to note though is more of the words Kulu chose and the conviction he spoke with. That wasn’t some sort of patsy saying the right thing to toe the line.

Sometimes I wonder just how thick footballers are. They train for a few hours a day, just how often do they need to be reminded:

"Right Pedro, Destiny, that thing there with the posts and the net that the baddies are trying to put the round thing in, we don't want them to put the round thing in it, try and keep them away from it yeah? Write that down, we'll be testing you on this next week..."

Must be like trying to house train a puppy, come game day Pedro's forgotten what you told him and shat all over the living room and chewed up your good shoes...

:ange-facepalm:

Do you think Woolwich would have him?

If someone is still "Ange in" they cannot be a rational person.
You can't argue with that type of person.

You have to give them their faith.

People go to church every week to pray to a man in the sky who literally - according to their worldview - must be fine with hundreds of thousands of children dying and being abused each year.

They even put money into a collection plate for the Privilege.

Faith is a good thing. Even if it can be misguided.

As for me I have faith we are going to get more injuries this season.

This is where we differ. Faith isn't good.
In most cases people use it as an excuse for bad things.
All the bad in the world? "God has a plan"
Spurs getting relegated "It wasn't Ange's fault, mate"

I get it - right now, no one should be blindly Ange-In.

I also get people who want him to succeed because they want the club to succeed and he is currently in charge - the two things in this case would be mutually beneficial.
