Some interesting quotes in this about the Liverpool performance.
Especially about sitting deep and chasing Liverpool all day actually ended up them doing more running and increasing the load,

People on here certainly seem to have the same assumption that playing deep block “pragmatic style” is less intense for the players and as a result less likely to cause injuries.
Which never sat right with me because Conte was famous for brutal pre seasons training and double sessions to try and make the players fit enough to do all the running required to play his deep block style.

basically

I’m not holier than thou. I was acting the cunt after a shit result.

I didn’t defend Ange for that Liverpool performance. That was unforgivable for everyone involved in the club.

You are just giving it the big one about your coaching experience making your ability to judge a professional coach legit, and I called you out for it.

You were chatting shit mate. It’s ok, everyone on here does it. Just own it.
Are you Ange in again!!!!??????

:)

That’s fine. Maybe, maybe not. Just get him out our club!!!

No idea why people engage with that Rusty fella. He posts through the night so he’s clearly in Oz. He isn’t a Spurs fan, he keeps saying “you” and “your”. He is clearly a fucking Ange fan and he comes in here gaslighting proper Spurs fans that it’s the club and circumstances which is why we are shit rather than his daddy Ange. Embarrassing.

Some of us have watched football and Spurs for decades and we know a chancer charlatan fraud when we see one.

Ange is the worst Spurs manager in history. Nobody is going to tell us otherwise.
You’re right I ain’t a spurs fan. If Ange gets the sack it will be hilarious watching fans reactions on here whilst Spurs crash and burn over and over again never win a single trophy in the next 100 years. It will be the same cycle for all eternity:

New coach, renewed optimism, bad results, angry fans, sack coach, new coach, renewed optimism, bad results, angry fans, sack coach, new coach, renewed optimism, bad results, angry fans, sack coach, new coach, renewed optimism, bad results, angry fans, sack coach, new coach, renewed optimism, bad results, angry fans, sack coach, new coach…

Wft do Spurs fans know? You mean like Mourinho, Conte and Esperito who are currently sitting 2nd, 1st and 3rd respectively. How about Poch, who Ange finished above last year? You had world class coaches, the problem isn’t your managers it’s your players. Your players are shit. There’s no manager in the world who can make shit turn to gold.

I'm 43, I hardly remember it tbh.
Well it was all out attack with very little emphasis on defence. Sort of the opposite of Conte, He'd sometimes play a formation with five forwards.

''Tottenham finished 15th in the Premiership and despite the expensive acquisition of Jürgen Klinsmann and Ilie Dumitrescu in the 1994 close season, Ardiles was sacked in October 1994 with Tottenham languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League. They had just been punished for financial irregularities committed during the late 1980s: with a 1-year FA Cup ban, £600,000 fine and 12 league points deducted. The punishment was later amended to a £1.5million fine and six points deducted but the FA Cup ban and points deduction were later quashed.''

Said for 10 days I’ll decide that after Villa.

Why after Villa? Spurs injuries haven’t improved, in fact they’ve gotten worse with Richarlison going down. Villa will probably smash Spurs and no one should be surprised. They are a very good team, have far less injuries, less loaded schedule and are at home. Though with Watkins going down that might give Spurs a sniff. If Spurs win it will be a minor miracle.

Stop measuring Spurs and Ange by what their second string youth development unit can do. Nothing will stabilise until the key injured players return, so it might in fact get worse before it gets better. Such are the pitfalls of playing two games every week with a squad decimated by injuries and no depth.

Totally agree with Matt here…. at this point in time it’s not about who comes next. It is 100% about getting this useless fraud out of our club.
This is the problem, because it is about who comes next. We're all over emotional because of the horror show we're not allowed to wake away from. But do we really want to swap out an awful manager for someone slightly less shit?
If we lose badly against Villa, which is more likely than unlikely, that should be the cue to let Ange go. But it'll have to be Ryan Mason then, and we have to go all out for the right manager in the summer. I wouldn't care if we spent our entire transfer budget on getting the right manager.....we can't just keep going through this cycle of hell

not many people in australia talk about him I expect as not many people pay attention to football/soccer.
I'm Aussie. In general you're completely right not many care about the EPL, but it depends on the area. The bigger cities have a lot of internationals and migrants and a lot of them are EPL followers. Just in my team at work there are 4 Spurs supporters, 3 United fans and 1 follows Chelsea. Everyone knows of Ange, everyone wishes him well, but in the last few weeks the threat of relegation has shifted the mood a lot - now no-one would be upset if he got sacked.

Beg Poch to take it until the end of the season he is back in Cockfoster at the moment

You are talking utter shit. There are about 10 other teams in the league sitting above us who have inferior players. So how do you explain that? Injuries? Bollocks. We were losing games under Ange when we had our first 11 players on the pitch.

How do you explain Fulham and Bournemouth being above us?

We have good players, we just have a fraud as a coach and manager.

We will do really well under someone like Iraola.

Conte, Mourinho and Nuno....sometimes managers don't work out. Nuno isn't a good fit for a big club. He's a good manager, nobody said otherwise, but he was never the right fit. Conte did well here for a while but he had a really poor squad to work with, he suffered some personal tragedies and he wanted to leave. We aren't set up as a win now club so it didn't work. Watch how long he stays at Napoli. Jose actually did a good job here, the football was awful though and some of the results were really bad. He wasn't properly backed.

Kindly fuck off, then.

"excuse me ange it is our medical advice that VDV should not play more then 60 minutes in this game"

proceeds to play 80 minutes.

"Excuse me Ange it is our medical advice that Sarr is not fit enough to start this game"

proceeds to start Sarr.

They've given Ange the information and he"s gone against advice. Wtf can they then do??
Nah it's clearly not the manager's fault we've been at or near the top of the injury table 2 seasons running when it had never previously been a huge issue, at least not to the point where literally half the senior players are injured at any one time for months at a time. Despite being literally the only common denominator between our previous lack of injuries and our horrendous "luck" with them now, as well as our horrendous "luck" with injuries compared with other sides around the league who play in a similar demanding style of play. It must be the entire medical staff's fault.

Because this week was huge for our season.

Getting the result against Elfsborg and Brentford was huge for the closing end of the season but Ange needs a trophy if the league form is this bad.

Ange definitely played VDV longer than planned.

He wouldn’t have played at all, 10mins, 60mins or 90 if the medical team didn’t clear him to play. That 60 mins wasn’t an exact science either btw. It’s not like the medical team would have said, he can play 60mins but if it’s 70 he’s getting injured.
