Quite a few here acknowledging that the club is mentally weak. For all his faults, that was one of, if not the, first things he identified about the club. "'Walk through the halls mate! NO BRAGGING RIGHTS TROPHIES IN THERE.

That culture only comes through winning.

One thing he isn't is mentally weak. The guy has won everywhere he has gone. Only once at Celtic did he have superior resources. One example was was expecting him to throw a home game FFS (and then hammering for going out to ...wint). You don't build a winning culture throwing games to spite another club. "He doesn't get it!". He did and he does. Winning is everything.

What a shame he’s a shit manager then.

Do you not judge fans who go and boo and do kick up a fuss?

I mean, touche I can admit to being hypocritical in a sense. Sure. If you're going there to actively boo and create a negative atmosphere that is detrimental to the potential result then sure.

I'm my mind it's different because theya are actively taking away from others experience

So meaningless, man. We've had so many "encouraging halves" under Ange. Just very few 90 minute performances. It's so easy to play well for one half at home when you're down 1-0 so chasing a game and have very little to lose. It's just another home defeat which leaves us once again a single point ahead of Everton in 16th with Fulham & Chelsea away after Bournemouth incoming. Going to end a season hoping we can finish ahead of mid table dirge spearheaded by the minds of Moyes & Potter FFS.

But yeah, at least the kids did alright for a half of footy, how "encouraging", get the clackers out...

I've never said it had any meaning outside the context of the game itself.

It wasn't a way to big ange up but I am.enthused by the difference in the way we played defensively in the second half. It bodes well for the team in the long run especially if we get the next manager right.

1.He was the one who boasted about winning trophies in his second season. (Not us)
2.Winning is everything? Throw games? we have 14 losses in 27 games....
3.He is terrible at managing players.
4.Tactically incompetent. I think the Man City game showed us that well.
5. Not cut out to be in a top league. SFL and J league are not even ranked in top 20 leagues.....

I don't care to get into discourse that has happened before nor am I to be part of it, here's my stance, as a statement & I shall keep it succinct. As this is my view from what I've seen his arrival till this post is being written :-

Every Europa League Leg is now an 'El Sackico' game - if we do not win any silverware this year, considering the possible four contended for, I must say from my opinion Ange isn't the one for Spurs forward into the new season as a head coach.

There's my concrete point ok guys? nothing more or less than that.

Because the trophy is on route under Ange's stewardship.

It was obvious that Porro was going to be badly exposed the other night, particularly against Doku. We knew what would happen because time and time again, the same scenario has arisen with frightening regularity. This is why we saw the need for Spence to be played there. Ange’s solution appears to be, however, that he will continue to repeatedly operate in the same way until maybe one day something different may happen. Porro is no defender but doesn’t deserve to shoulder all the blame. The lack of coaching, or no coaching, that allows him to continually hover around the halfway line while his opponent occupies about five acres of space behind him is the major factor. Inevitably, when the opposition find their player in acres of space with a simple ball into that space, our midfield and defence pour back at chaotic Keystone Kop pace so that by the time the pass is made into our goal mouth no one knows quite where they are supposed to be.

At his press conferences or interviews, Ange is never really pressed on matters like this, thus allowing him to deflect on to subjects like injuries, players ages or how great he was in Japan or Australia.

I was surprised then after the City game when, for once, after seeing what has been so obvious to the majority of us all season, he was asked by Jonathan Pearce for MOTD, “Do you think you were a little too open on the right hand side of your defence where Doku was causing problems?”

I thought to myself — at last, Ange is going to finally explain this piece of tactical genius he adopts every game. I waited with bated breath for the pearl of wisdom to emerge. His answer was “Yeah that was coming because we were turning the ball over, I thought Pedro did a really good job but when you turn the ball over like we did in the first half you allow them to hit into those spaces and Doku is a very good winger and causes most teams problems but after that we handed it well.”

So now we have it. No more discussions are needed on why opposition forwards can operate in acres of space every week on our right hand side. As you were.
Ange is the poster boy for solipsism

See you later when Ange is gone. The man has no coaching ability or team organisational ability. I looked at your messages and saw your first one message talk about Celtic vs Real Madrid as a game where he proved everyone wrong is that the 5-1 loss or 3-0 loss? Celtic have been better in Europe since he left.

I completely understand that a lot of supporters would be very happy with a win against AZ. My own opinion is that Spurs really dont have any excuse not to blow this lot away this leg.

Plenty of rest for players along with a few back. Added to that the importance this comp must be viewed by all involved at the club.

Spurs on paper are a vastly superior team. I know that has a habit for not counting for much some times. However in this case I simply cant find a reason why it shouldn't. Spurs should be all over this lot like a rash, and be smashing them from the get go until the end.

I've written before that this is Anges last chance saloon to show what he has or hasn't got.

We now have a fit squad, playing one game a week with plenty of time to train tactics and an average opponent. No more excuses, this is it. Let's smash 'em, and if not let's sack him.

That's why I feel there is no reason why our players, young players, always dropped to their feet when the final whistle blew after those matches during the busy period. We expanded so much energy unnecessarily running, whether or not we have the ball. There are no structure and plan. Liverpool fitness is so good because they know when they can slow down and when they can raise it to overcome the opponent. We definitely lack that from Ange.

It goes back to what I’ve been saying for nearly two years now. We have naive players and naive tactics. Time and again they are shown up.

The plus side of guardiola’s comments is that he obviously thinks we have good players. I’ll take that. Now we just need a new manager to take them over. However, I’m concerned we will start next season with Ange in control. Levy is such a berk that he’ll let it continue into next year, we’ll still be shit in November and he will sack him then. Perfect for levy in that respect because it means another transitional season where he won’t need to invest properly and can let us drift again. Shit though if you’re paying thousands each year to go watch us play, it’s money thrown down the drain.

What he has got is lucky, lucky to manage one of the top ten biggest clubs in Europe.
What he hasn't got is, a set up or system befitting such a status, been an absolute cluster fuck of an appointment and a stain on the clubs history.
