Need to keep Ange long enough to convert as many of the 26m Aussies to lifelong addicts before sacking him.
Don't forget, football is multigenerational too, so many of them will pass that addiction onto their kids.

I think with the fanbase, there's a misconception that we're a big club. We're not a big club, we're a rich club, but a big club doesn't go trophyless for nearly 20 years and doesn't sack manager after manager, while changing systems of play every time
Big clubs have clear identities, from the fans, to the coaches, to the players, they fight for the same ideology.
Our club is a train wreck, we all know the problems with Levy, from a business perspective he's the best in the world, but fans rarely focus too much on that, unless it's going horribly wrong.
Sacking manager after manager is costing us how much? Our recruitment of managers, and players leaves a lot to be desired.
Some fans toxicity and delusions of grandeur regarding the club are just embarrassing. I'd say we're on par with Aston Villa and Newcastle with regards to stature.
For all Ange’s flaws tactically, he did try to change the mentality of the club.
But we just see the same insults and toxicity all over the internet.
I hope we get Iraola, and I hope things change with the mentality of the club and the respect from the fanbase.....but I said that about Mourinho, Conte and Ange...

On Friday after AZ show us out we could see Ange named PL Manager of the Month and sacked on the same day
 
Did read on football insider Ange wont get sacked if we get knocked out by AZ but will be post season review instead. Will be a disgrace if we get knocked out by a 19k stadium team in an inferior league. Tbh I'd rather keep Ange till end of season then sack him. Mason a 3rd time as caretaker would be a joke.

That’s exactly what I mean though. Not conte but the others were flexible tacticians not wedded to a single way of playing and give their players a lot of tactical flexibility to go their thing. It’s what we need, they’re the only kind of manager that will work under levy because of the constraints he puts on a manager financially

Said he would be elite if he had world class players in every position. Hardly makes you an elite coach if you can only be successful with the best players in the league.
 
Ange has turned out to be such a caricature of a principled manager that many people have probably already warmed up to the idea of a successor who'll get things done by any means necessary. Which is quite ironic since he was supposed to leave us asking for more of that front foot, attacking football that we were initially promised. This guy has made a better case for the trio of Mourinho-Nuno-Conte than they could've ever made for themselves.

Call it pragmatic, back to the basics, old school or whatever. Fans want to see their team win above anything else, and this doesn't always have to happen at the expense of aesthetics. Style AND substance is quite achievable, it doesn't have to be one over another.

We are lucky to have him that’s for sure . Just imagine if ENIC had decided to hang around at any of the other clubs they spectacularly failed at we might not have won the Carling Cup in 2008 . With another 25 years experience he will be ready for another shot at the Carabao Cup or whatever it will be called in 2050 .

I will be 88 by then, good times
 
If Ange stays, we will be title challengers next year. A decent pre season camp and a couple of experienced squad additions and the system will click into place.

- Without Salah, Trent and VVD, this is Liverpools last season up top.
- City about to embark on an entire squad rebuild.
- Newcastle will ditch Howe and go for Mourinho to take them to the next level.
- Woolwich's fan have had enough of cry baby, and he may get pushed out.
