The thing is , unlike many clubs , we have the resources to create a winning mentality but it doesn’t seem to be a priority hence my original point

Umm, we do now, for sure - we didn't for the bulk of our time in the prem and I never see any pushback from you or many people about that very real, undisputable fact.

We are in a shit place right now - that's for sure - but I think the right manager changes that with the spine of players we have at the club right now.

you were talking about CL but now changed the goalposts?

yeah thats you to a tee mate

changed the goal posts? only in your mind , i said the squad wasnt good enough, and neither was an aged out Llorente to win CL. his lack of end product is quite relevant.
ok if it makes you feel better he scored 3 goals in 16 CL games for us, wonderful record, talk about standards in the mud. FIVE goals in his entire spurs career of over 40 matches, Levy thanks you for this attitude greatly :ange-lol:

Your first paragraph kind of confirms my point , we possibly didn’t as a club when we were peak Poch but we could have with ambitious owners

I don’t see much changing with a new manager , well definitely more of a clue tactics wise but the truly ambitious players will go leaving us with another rebuild , which is a situation we’ve been in for ages .

If we go out on Thursday they ABSOLUTELY 10000% need to give the new coach some games this season to assess the squad,

There are unemployed candidates like Xavi and Terzic who we don’t need to wait for and most of the ones that we might deem worth waiting for won’t come to Spurs anyway.

Should have done it months ago and there would have been a good chance that we could have got a European spot for next season via the league.

You're the guy who runs around this forum defending Postecoglou!!

Somewhat more material than Llorente !

It isnt though - We had a core team of very ambitious players for ages - where is this narrative coming from?

Kane was with us for 10 years - he didn't just leave - Eriksen most supporters were mad that we didn't sell him sooner towards the end ofhis time here - Lloris? Vertonghen? Son?

Who are all these players you are talking about - since Bale/Walker I can barely think of one and every team loses one or two of their best players?

So are you saying 95% of our players were not truly ambitious?

LMAO, yeah im running around postecoglou because i don't agree with you, good stuff :ledley:
Your comments in response to someone saying Llorente was a good sub option (which he was) ends up being that he's essentially playing into Levy's hands by having such low expectations.

Can't you see that is a minor point, if a point at all?

And that the endless defence of Ange by fans like you is ever so slightly more material in playing into Levy's hands?

assists?

liek I said we didnt even get out of the group without him. And v Ajax they couldnt handle him.
Obv you werent at those Wembley games so you dont know what you're talking about. Part time fan, armchair supporter, you mate are the Levy muppet.

Adn show me how every one of Fergies PL winning teams was a worldbeater? Eh? Some VERY average team members there. VERY. It's how people fit together as a TEAM

I’m saying many of them get comfy . I mean you could just go back to my original reply to the tweet to read that 👍
