Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Moore is back playing for the U-21s. I also read last week he deleted the last 6 months of his Spurs related posts from his Instagram, including the one that included his first goal for us.

One of the most promising talents out of the academy in years and he's being mismanaged horifically.

The fraud's excuses:
Injuries, the amount of games, not being at the levels we should be at (your job its literally making sure they are at the levels you want us to be at) the pitch & now the atmosphere. The actual reasons- the formation, the tactics & HIMSELF.

He has shown absolutely nothing for 16 months. The squad has gone backwards. The tactics are flawed and he's just a fucking arrogant prick.
Reminds me so much of gerry francis this bloke. Excuses galore. Grumpy press conferences and shown zero flexibility in adversity. Europa league or bust imo. But tbh damage has been done. Iraola for me.

I don't think he was quite ready tbh, we can't loan him now and the u21s need help. Loan him out next season. He will be back for us soon enough and then we'll see that talent shine through at the right time.

I hear you mate as well, i just think that, it will be the same as moyes at West ham, he won't a European trophy but, it only delayed the inevitable and I think that would happen here.
It doesn't matter what team he has out, full strength or not, games go the same way frantic and messy.
A better manager gets more out of this team with a better set up, i don't trust him or his procees so I would offload personally.
Fair play... it is a tough one... but I think I'd take that dose of endorphine...

You really comparing a manager that took us to the CL with Ange?
Ange is levels below Poch as a manager.
Where am I comparing them Rooster??? I'm merely pointing out that people here are forgetting how bad the football was in Poch's final season. It was on a par with the same shit we've seen this season. Did Poch achieve more at Spurs than Ange has so far? No question he did but let's not pretend his sacking wasn't warranted and let's not pretend he won silverware because he didn't. I'm not knocking Poch. He made us relevant but I personally don't want him back. It rarely works second time around.

It's both. I don't know why it's always a choice for football fans.
Cup or top 4? BOTH
Is it Levy's fault or the coaches? BOTH
Margot Robbie or Charlize Theron - BOTH!

Well it’s not is it! I SPEAK FACTS!!

Facts!!!!

Last 25 years.
Cup or top 4? Both??
Never.

What manager / coach has levy full backed in that 25 years. Not 1.

And at no point do I believe you have played naked hide the sausage with Margot Robbie and Charlize Theron. Not by themselves and definitely not at the same time.
You scallywag.

Winning the Europa wont remove the questions Ange will need to answer going forward. People are losing sight of why he's here in the first place.

Ange was signed by the club to rebuild the team from basically scratch. in a progressive performance project. With the intention of in a handful of years having a title winning team.

If he wins the Europa it may very well be decided that the project ultimately had a short term success. However Anges part in the project has reached its ceiling.

How is he going to improve on the previous two seasons? How is he going to rectify the problems and improve and fix those issues etc. Maybe it's decided that someone else is better placed for the next stage of this project.

Ultimately supporters should not forget what was started and promised. That was to over time build a trophy winning team.

If the management isn't confident enough in Ange to spend the very large sums that were always going to be needed to make the final stage a success. They need to find someone they will be confident with.

They cannot forever be in a cycle of knock-down and rebuild. And I think that is why Ange will last at least until the end of EL. The management wants an orderly process and not another botched knock down job.

Winning the “ Europa “ won’t necessarily save Ange ; but it will be a HUGE springboard for him ; If he decides to stay with his day job . It would mean the difference between managing Olympiacos ( his boyhood club ) and say QPR ; both worthy choices obviously, but if he could choose etc ..

I reckon he’s incredibly motivated to do well with us regardless of how obvious it is that he should be shot out of a cannon come the last game of our season .

Aw he is plenty ready- but needs to have minutes and appearances carefully managed to help maximize his potential without damaging him.

Unfortunately Ange- due to his poor management- is in no mindset to play youngsters- he’s desperate to save his job. Moore is secondary to that unfortunately.

It makes me very angry that he gets a free pass for our worst league performance in 20-30 years while the faint hope of EL glory suspends the disbelief of many.

Stuff the League : whether we finish 17th or 12th only matters because there’s a few million either way ;
Ange isn’t a manager to take us anywhere in this league (clearly) ; but as the planets have aligned we
COULD actually win the Europa ; and so Ange could depart with a star on his CV and make a few people in North LNDN and beyond happier in the process . What’s wrong with hoping for that to happen
( in that order, of course ) .

Poch was 3-5-4 (12th) before getting sacked and we passed through UCL group stage and still got fired.......

I think people are jumping the gun in a massive way re: the Europa and us winning the thing.

Wonder if there's a chance Ange goes quietly during the international break.

If we actually did go all the way in the Europa but Levy has seen enough and wants someone new next season, he has a problem. Not a new problem either - Mourinho's sacking ahead of the LC final was done to prevent us having to keep him if he won something, and of course Man Utd had the same problem with Ten Hag after he won the FA Cup.

No chance

imagine waking up to the news of Ange being sacked over the weekend.. and theres a buzz… because Pochettino has been spotted at the airport. He’s driving into the training ground. He declares he has unfinished business at Spurs. Immediately raises the banners and casts out the rot. Puts himself back at the rightful head of the table. The positivity. The energy. Got us thinking about 2016-2019 all over again. Even his last year at Spurs was a million times better than this shit.

Investment. Some real big name signings. Immediately changes the energy of the club. The players. We finally have our leader back. The excitement. We need this.

It can and will happen.
It might, after the next world cup. And that means no preseason for him.

Honestly this was like reading a male version of Fifty Shades of Grey for spurs supporters :ledleylick:

With Will Lankshear (19), Mikey (17), Damola Ajayi (19), Dane Scarlett (20) and now Wilson (20) all having scored for us in the Europa League this season, we are now the first side since European competitions began to see five players under the age of 21 find the back of the net in a single season
