Sounds like we have put the feelers out. Bournemouth fans I have spoken to seen to think Foley will convince him to stay but I am sceptical.

He'll probably use us to get a new contract!

Also he's the 17th highest paid manager in the PL..We could triple his salary and still pay at least 1.5 million less than the fraud...has to be a big plus to levy

On a positive note, we're about to go 18 days unbeaten.

Mourinho and Conte are serial winners who tried to instill a win at all costs mentality. It didn't work, but I can't see how Ange has done anything which suggests he has more of a winners mentality?
He wanted Spurs to beat Man City last season, EVEN if it helped hand Woolwich the title!

Natural Born Winner mate!

Luckily he couldn't manage to mastermind that particular victory, so we were spared the ignominy of what an isolated win would've meant bigger picture!

There’s not a single timeline in the expanded universe in which I would want us to win a game that hands the Scum the title.

And forget Spurs. If people don’t understand that, they don’t get football or British people.
Yeah, I don't understand that....and I am British!
Maybe it's a strange concept but I put the success of the team I support over the failure of another team.

I'd argue that the MOTD breakdown actually flatters him to an incredible degree. It absolves him of most of the blame by portraying individual players as incapable of playing even the most simple one twos, tracking back runners, or showing some elementary level of spatial awareness.

Meanwhile we all know who the common denominator is from some of the stuff we've been seeing week after week no matter who plays where.

-Weird pressing triggers where a few players start pressing at full force out of nowhere despite having zero chance of forcing an error, and only end up taking themselves out of the play while also wasting valuable energy.

- Fullbacks routinely ending up pressing opposing fullbacks all the way up the pitch, central midfielders ending up hugging the touchlines pressing opposing wide players etc.

-Centre backs being caught in no man's land because of what's been happening with FBs and CMs. Should they stay wide to cover for the former, or should they push over the defensive line all the way into the midfield area to cover for the latter?

-Tons of backwards and sideways passing in possession

-Players leaving a lot to be desired in some elementary aspects of defending such as clearing crosses and chasing runners

The list goes on. At this point I'm genuinely worried about some of the young players in the squad. Ange and co have been drilling some horribly wrong ideas about how the game should be played into them for quite some time now. It'll take some time and effort to cleanse their minds of all that nonsense. I don't envy the successor who'll be burdened with this task.
there's a reluctance in the english media to call out ange's failed tactics. don't know what it is but i've said it before, if he was european or american he'd get flamed way harder.

YES! A season in the champions league is not worth watching and living with that lot winning the league and us winning it for them to top it off

I had major concerns when he said he “couldn’t understand” fans wanting to lose. I don’t expect a coach or players to do anything but try to win the game, but to not understand fans not wanting to win told me he really just doesn’t understand English football.

I remember when we were in the champions league final and Woolwich were in europa final, every single one of my gooner mates said they would take Woolwich losing their final if it meant spurs didn’t win the champions league. This wasn’t some weak mentality spurs fan bollocks some we’re making out, this is how most English fans feel about their teams/rivals.
But in 20 years time when they're walking past the trophy cabinet and see that Europa cup, who cares that Spurs won the CL that year.
The game is about winning as many trophies as possible, about playing at the highest level and tasting success as a team. Not just about wanting your rivals to fail.
Of course I want Woolwich to fail, but not to the detriment of Spurs.

These are the kind of videos that will actually get him the sack from levy. No way he will like to see his manager being unable to keep himself in check. He’s got the thinnest skin of any manager I’ve know, it’s worse than even Arteta!
Levy reads e-mails that are sent to him supposedly. We should be sending him these videos and asking how he can allow Ange to stay on given this.

You're talking like it's a defect with our fans in particular.. Every fanbase would be the same..

The week we were in the champions league final.. Woolwich were in the Europa League final.. Every single on of their fans I heard, said that they'd take losing their final, if it meant we lost ours as well. But of course of they should. We'd have made their lives miserable had we won the champions league and all they had to show for it was the europa league.. It's normal.
Yeah, the term cutting off your nose to spite your face comes to mind.
You know what though, we could be in that exact position this season.
Would the majority of fans really want us to not win our first trophy for 17 years and qualify for the world's biggest club competition, if it meant Woolwich didn't win the CL??

Well, I'd want the Spurs job too. There's a damn good chance you'll get your entire payout with half the time and work.
Doesn't actually work like that. We almost certainly continue to pay their wages for as long as they remain unemployed. Once they get a new job that ends.
Potentially only offsetting the difference if the next job is paid less.

you have no idea what youre talking about, same with the clown whos sack is imminent.

they are called the scum for a reason. what the fuck is 3 fucking points in comparison to them winning the fucking league, plonker!
It's not just 3 points if it's a chance to qualify for the CL is it!
I'd rather watch Spurs play in the top tier of club football the following season than throw a game because I couldn't face getting a bit of shit from some gooners!
Yep I'm crazy because I want success for my team over failure for another....

Now you are talking about trophies rather than just being in the Champions League. Trophies is a different matter.

You’d think given Anges “26 years experience” he’d be able to handle crowd jeers. Comes with the territory. He’s the only manager iv seen consistently squaring up to his own fans.

So inexperienced and out of his depth.
It’s a strange one. In most jobs if you square up to the customers you are likely to get sacked for gross misconduct. In fact this could be a way out for Levy to get rid without having to pay Ange millions in compensation. Just sack him for gross misconduct!
