Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He’s miles better than Mason or anyone at the club and Redknapp. Besides he loves Spurs, and would gets the fans back on side for a few months.

Hoddle better than Mason

I'm really not convinced. Hoddle is also a walking heart attack,

mIts noticeable that since Iraola has become favourite to replace Ange, Bournemouth seem to be losing more.
The wheels have fallen off in a similar way to ours under Poch in his first 2 seasons.
He maybe hasn't found the balance between training and games yet.

But to put it in context, they went 11 unbeaten during Nov and January.
When the wheels fell off, they lost to Liverpool, an improving Brighton, Brentford who, having not won away all season, went on a 5 game away winning streak. The bad ones for me are Wolves and Ipswich but then we'd lose those too. They were robbed of 3 points from us too :roflmao:

Tbh Ange made the calls to Levy to sign Solanke and Johnson. Wasted 110m on them. Johnson can give benefit of doubt as still very young and can be developed but Solanke was a bad signing imo. He doesnt make things happen. No hold up play or bringing midfield or attack in play. Astonished really we paid 65m for him tbh. Levy will fire him once we get knocked out Europa imo.
Solanke did exactly that last season at Bournemouth. The fact is Spurs don't get the ball upto Solanke to hold it up.

He done this numerous times yesterday, was in fact our only outlet.

Our only 2 good chances came from his work.

2 Other times he dropped deep, battled to win his duels then passed it to Maddison, made a run through centre backs to receive a through ball but Maddison went wide to Sonny on both occasions and the moves died.

Think Ange has taken on fans now 5 or 6 times during his tenure. Harsh reality he could get away with his tactics against ross county, St Mirren etc even with a depleted injured side. Premier league is elite and constant every week. Hes been found out. Hes lost the players and tbh I noticed pre-match when players walked in stadium they all looked glum. The were defeated before they started imo.

I honestly can't fathom why he is still here now.

Game on Sunday? Quick turnaround? Don't want to destabilise the team for the weekend?

What's there left to destabilise? The whole thing is a wreck. He hates the fans, the fans hate him, the players are demoralised and looking lost every single game. The coaching is non-existent.

Said it weeks ago but we are now at the point where keeping him is active self harm to not just the club on the pitch but off it too. He has somehow made even losing to Chelsea worse for himself and the club's image than any other previous Spurs boss.

A pressure valve has to be released and that means sacking him and his coaching staff. In the meantime, just get back to basics in training make it fun even to try and lift the mood in the club, get a player/manager for all I care. The whole thing just needs a total reset.

And don't give me that waffle about giving him the Europa League. We are shite EVERY game - it's simply not changing. Time is up and that time was months ago.
The Europa league even being relevant at this stage genuinely proves how low this club has sunk. If that’s the reason this is carrying on, then it’s just that little bit more disheartening.

And by the by, we are not good enough to navigate 5 games without shitting the bed at least once.

Wonder if poch will leave USA in summer to comeback to us or will honour his position. Either way we will have a new manager in summer. Just a bit concerned it will be a nuno scenario. 8th choice appointment.

Well for what it’s worth I think it’s us that heard it wrong. We thought it was — Second season and we’d have a cup here this year.

When all along it was just — Second season, cup his ear.

We wanted to believe so much that the lying sod just reeled us in. He’s got to go.

I’ll be off now.

Read a few times since Ange tenure, teams know how to play us. Just shows how basic and predictable his tactics are. Not sure hes actually changed formation of team during his time. Just a bad manager with board taking a risk again. Wankers.

Why do people actually believe this will happen?
Because we have in fact hired managers in season before also there is still potentially 13 games to go, I don't think we have a squad of players who aren't trying, I think they want to do well.

Why did you and so many others believe Ange Postecoglou would turn it around when he's been nothing short of dreadful this season.
