I’m not convinced he gets one over the bodo glimt manager. He seems a pretty switched on guy, which will be enough to cause us problems. We are all expecting to beat them but football doesn’t work like that and Ange has more than enough about him to completely fuck it all up.
Ange got shown up by the Tamworth manager, I wouldn’t make us favourites against anyone with him in charge.
It makes you wonder how Ange won anything in his career. I'm not being funny but surely Motherwell, Kilmarnock and Raith Rovers are better than Tamworth. Or is the Scottish Prem worse than National League. Genuine question. I look at that Tamworth game where the team we put out would cost twenty times more than his best Celtic team and if Tamworth could figure it out why couldn't the other Scottish sides figure it out. They surely have more resources than Tamworth. I'm not changing my tune on Ange. I'd have sacked him after Ipswich game but how has he managed to win stuff when his footbsll is so easy to play against.
It’s a given that the club is an absolute mess, recruitment a shambles, no leaders in the dressing room, Levy and ENIC must go etc etc etc.
We all either watch and go to Spurs games week in week out. Anyone closely following it who knows and understands the game can see that Big Ange is completely out of his depth and it has been a shambles from 10 games in last season.
One thing I will give him credit for, he mightn’t know much about coaching or managing a football team, but he’s a master b*llshit artist. There’s not many clubs that he’d still be in situe after the near two seasons of abject results and performances that he’s presided over with us. He’s spun out this narrative that he’s a coaching revolutionary genius that an ungrateful fanbase and a mess of a club don’t deserve. Sir Alex took 4-5 years to get a grip of things at Old Trafford, I’m in that elite sort of company, know what I’m doing and give me time and breathing space to work my magic.
A lot of the press and media seem to be lapping up his nonsense as well. The spin is, Spurs are a toxic, impatient and ungrateful fanbase. They can’t keep sacking their manager and need to eventually back somone long-term. Just our luck that after burning his way through something like 20 managers in 25 years, when Levy eventually decides to double down and go into full Dolly Parton stand by your man mode, he does so over probably the worst, most incompetent and out of his depth manager that we’ve ever had.

We won 3-0 with 80% posession. It was a couple of days after having beaten Liverpool, and a couple of days before we were set to play Woolwich.

Fact of the matter is, we binned off the league in December. The squad was bare bones and we had to pick our battles. Go for in in the cups (less fixtures, more breaks), or try and scrape 6th place (more fixtures, play every week).
Give the man a proper squad, we will challenge for the title in his 4th season.
Said it a 1000 times we are moments team. We play in patches and SOMETIMES we bang in a few goals in quick succession like v Villa and Brentford. Most of the game is just going through the motions especially first half’s. I’d like to see how many games have gone out and blitzed teams. Remember under poch we’d do that all the time.

4th season now after he gets us relegated. The man has had a proper squad, chose not to utilise it properly, got players in like Werner and said we will challenge for title this season. You are deluded as him ffs. He said the squad was good enough and was happy with it at start of season. Then the dimwit says a few weeks ago that may be at start of season they hadn’t prepared properly. I mean it is Ameritech hour really.
They do and he just says it’s too many or not good enough. As carra said he comes out with the same shot after every defeat therefore nothing is changing and he ain’t doing anything about it.
Tbh that is how his football works. It really relies on a few players providing those moments as he doesn’t coach the team to play attack as a team or defend. It’s like defence his whole ‘system’ breaks down I’d VDV is not playing because he hasn’t coached any defensive disciplin.

What is frightening is Ange being around overlooking or having input into summer transfers. Since his been here both his 2 major signings Johnson and Solanke I never wanted. As fans you just know some players you don’t want and both these two fit that bracket. There were plenty of players out there we could have got and wanted these two. Add in turbo twice no way do I want this guy in charge.
We had to bring on son , solanke and a few others. That front 3 were shocking that day especially Johnson and turbo both his players.
They must have a mutual agreement with Ange. Let him stay till end of season to see if can win a trophy in his 2nd season and this satisfy his ego. He can then leave in the summer happy and without being sacked.
Drew with tamworth after 90 minutes. Had to bring cavalry on to win that. Been many examples of pisspoor performances under him. 5 defeats in row end of last season. He should have gone losing to Ipswich at home.
