That said… if he manages to get this club over the line and secures this trophy I’ll forgive him everything and be eternally grateful

How can you despise him for not being a Spurs level manager ?

How many managers who were given the chance to manage Spurs do you think would turn it down.

Yes he's not of the level required, but IMO despise is too strong a word. There are others more culpable than him for the fact that he's out of his depth.

He's a fraud. I've never resorted to comments about his physical appearance or personality type.
Some of us can see that he's a subpar football coach without resorting to abuse.
The only ones left who can't see that he's a below average coach are people who don't support Spurs....

I don't like him at all and I met him and initially did like him. I think he's a grade A bullshitter he's fake,dumb, brittle, thin skinned hypocritical and a bit of a liar. I'm right on the cusp of despising him. But all this get behind the team crap is risible. Stop with this utter bullshit, wake the fuck up, no wonder these people believe so completely in the magic thinking Ange the messiah. What we do here does not effect anything grow up. Agree and upon reflection some of my posts about his BMI were uncalled for, he’s just a sub standard coach out of his depth.

Anyway the team fly out today, smaller jet to land into Boldo airport, apparently Ange has one side of the plane to himself, something about ballast and take off performance so I’m told.

Agreed. I probably have made the odd offensive comment, and in all honesty I don't despise him at all. He does come across as an egoist and dreamer who overrates himself, but one can't blame him for taking the job and sticking at it while he can get away with it.

Just an anecdote ... someone I know (massive spurs fan) had a brain injury about a year ago, I wrote to THFC to ask Ange to send him a get well soon card. Ange did so immediately.

I don't know. There are probably a small percentage of fans that want Ange to lose the final to make sure he is gone, similar to Mourinho ahead of the League Cup final, but the majority of fans would prefer to win a trophy than sack any manager before or after a final.

I thought Ange would fail when we signed him due to Kane leaving, finishing 8th, and him not being a better manager than Conte, Poch, Mourinho, etc. - despite what deluded Celtic fans thought (yet still never took my bet on).

After his first ten games and finishing 5th he deserved a chance in his second season imo even if I didn't like his attitude in the press or his defence or the fact that he still didn't win anything or qualify for the CL.

If he wins I'll be happy to give him another season again, despite clearly being a worse manager than the likes of Eddie Howe.

Most of my criticism is due to Ange talking shite and not knowing how to defend and being unsuccessful.

If he is successful the talking shite and not knowing how to defend at times does not really bother me.

I honestly hope he works it out next season.
