I'm genuinely stunned this is still a debate. We've been total garbage all season in every competition. We beat teams in the Europa League we should have always been beating. It was an extremely kind run to the final that we still had to play smash n' grab football to get to. Then we had to play diabolical football to beat arguably the worst Man Utd team ever. Job was done granted but ask yourself is that really sustainable long term? We could have very easily lost that final.

And that was in a competition that could save his job. Look at the PL. 17th isn't just failure, it's utter humiliation for everyone involved and it's not even bad luck. Injuries or not we've been hopeless all season. How many of our defeats were bad luck? Hardly any. Even when we won or drew it seemed to be down to the other side not having their shooting boots on, or it was just our turn to play Southampton.

Let's not forget he basically talked himself out of the job requirements either by saying we play too many games (having previously said his squad was able to meet said requirements.)

I have a question for the AngeIn brigade. What would it take for you to be convinced maybe we should actually change the manager. How much worse does it have to get? This club should never have dropped out of the top 10 let alone suffered its third worst domestic campaign ever.

Effectively, I see it like this:

AngeIn is based on 90 minutes of shithousing cringe defensive and desperate football against crisis ridden Man Utd
AngeOut is based on nearly two years of total embarrassment that's offering ZERO sign of genuine improvement.

Everyone asking for clarity from the club may be in for a long wait. It’s very possible the decision has been made and they won’t announce it.

Do we usually announce that a manager will be in charge again next season?

Maybe the decision has been made to keep him. If that’s the case, you’ll hear nothing official from the club.

What an absolute disaster we are.

Again the people who make the big decisions at the Club are fucking clueless.

There's never a strong sense of direction emanating from the Club.

Probably leaking that stance so they can guage fan opinion and go with that.

Totally spineless.

We did this exact same dance with juande ramos in 2008. He won us our first trophy for years so we kept him on when it was clear it wasn't going to work, and we wasted a season.

For all this talk about how the players love the manager and want to play for him, the cunts have lost 22 league games this season and finished 17th. How about we get someone who is going to make them sweat and put them under pressure.

We have the monkey off our backs trophy wise, we'd be fucking stupid to continue doing the same dance we have this season, trying for a league or fa cup, as we are doing nothing in the league/cl. It's unacceptable. Get him gone, and anyone who wants to go with him.

I can't believe that people want to keep him given what we've seen for 18 months.

Very well put mate.

Ramos would have been fine had he not been Levy'd. Sold our two best players and replaced them a certified bum and another striker that was ok.

(1) We didn't.
(2) I didn't cringe once.
Fine margins is my overall point. Many have gone for us this season even though we have been awful.

Records will say we smashed Tamworth 3-0. But objectively we were one wild hopeful swipe of a kick that you, me and the vast majority of this forum could have produced away from suffering the most humiliating defeat in our entire history - and we were garbage that day too.

No, he was fucked, the players basically rebelled against him. Banning ketchup and making them eat plain pasta. He wouldn’t play Ledley in the league. Ramos was never going to make it here or in English football.

We gave him a few months at the start of the season but it was clearly a disaster and he needed to go.

the fact united are trying to sign two players that would upgrade our first 11 nicely, while we do fuck all, is a disgrace.
