Next season will be a fucking disaster if he stays.

A small part of me wants it to happen just so all the absolute clowns who think Ange should get a third season are actually shown how clueless they are when it continues to go tits up.

Will be fascinating to see what excuses they come out with this time.

But that still isn't enough for me to want him to stay. He has to go.

We really need to hear a decision this week. Transfers are well underway and we don't even know who our manager is going to be.

If we are unsure you can bet players and agents are too.

I reckon if Ange isn't gone in the next 10 days, he is here for next season unfortunately.

The club have had pretty much all of last season, at the very minimum since Xmas, for them to have realised Ange was a blagger way out of his depth so a plan should have been in place to get rid of him and hire a replacement. I would have thought we would have had our ducks in a row on making changes as soon as the season finished or at least soon after.

I guess it is still early June, so we shouldn't panic just yet. But I don't see why there should be so much of a delay in gettign rid of him.

Maybe they are just waiting for Ange to get back from holiday. I just really hope there is a plan in place on hiring a replacement, and it isn't a case where Levy still doesn't have a clue what he's doing or he's decided that Ange is getting a third season.

All the noise from journalists seem to be he is going to leave. They are likely guessing, but at least they are guessing he is going.

I just have a really horrible feeling that we will get breaking news from a prominent journo in the next few days which will say "exclusive: Ange stays at Spurs. Levy has promised him full backing in the transfer market, and recognises injuries and difficulties last season were out of Ange's control".
agree with everything, cheers. what truly sucks is that if he stays not only will we have to endure him and his shit football but there will be no doubt that levy is running the club like an absolute fuckwit who blows in the wind with whatever he reads or hears in the media or socials. are the frank rumors trial balloons from the club to gauge reaction? are we really judging public opinion to make this football decision? it's hard to fathom a world where we decide to keep this clown and of all the shit sandwiches we've been served over the years this will be the biggest steaming one. is this what it's like to support everton?

Yeah I made a similar point last week.

For me, if he stays, not only are we wasting the momentum the trophy gave us, and we will be writing off another season, but it will also finally confirm my worst fears, that Levy is a clown who has no idea what he's doing on the football side.

I mean, we already know he doesn't have a clue, but you'd hope he would have learned from his mistakes this time.

But if Ange is given a third season, it brings to reality three horrible scenarios. 1. That our club makes criticial decisions based purely off emotion, 2. or / and we weren't able to attract a manager who we thought was better than Ange. 3. Our board and management have no idea what they are doing. For them to watch the whole of last season, a record 22 league defeats, and decide yes Ange is our man, beggars belief.

Both are horrible things to realise.

Ange has to be sacked, to not do it really is sabotaging our own club from the inside out.

i'm not gonna lie, him staying will break me and my love for this club. not saying i'll walk away but i'll need a break from the toxicity he brings. i'm very worried that he's going to break us
Likewise on several levels. Him staying would just be another admission the board dont give a shit. I mean if racking up a point per game over 50 games and finishing 17th is just business as usual we're just wasting our time aren't we.

Add in i think he's just really shit, 100% he'd be sacked in the autumn but not before a ton more toxicity, excuses, spats with the fans and another wasted season, another golden opportunity blown.

Lastly i'd happily admit i cant stand the bloke. He seems to possess all the character traits i dislike in one unlovable bundle...rudeness, arrogance, narcissistic, full of excuses and blame shifting.

It also coincides with changing a full medical department
The medical department was changed a year and a half into Ange's reign started, so already with the massive increase in injuries, and after a massive argument between the physio and Ange, where Geoff Scott who had been with us for 20 years, and never seen injury turnover like this, basically blamed Ange's methods and workloads for the increases

by 'us' i mean the entire club. i'd think you'd be upset at us for not believing in and letting down your favorite coach.

My favourite football ‘coach’ is Carlo Ancelotti.

Ange will be manager of Spurs first game of the Premier League season. If he gets sacked from there, it likely will be justified.

But you should consider, he may just keep winning things for Spurs, he does have a track record of doing so…

How will you feel at that point, if Spurs win another trophy, or 2, next season with Ange still as manager?

absolutely agree. i even had to check myself initially that my bias against his personality was clouding my judgement of his performance. in real life i despise and avoid people like him at all costs. you can see it in his face too. just an absolute prick

I’m with Harry7, I reckon we’re waiting to see if we can save the compensation costs when City come in for him to replace that no hoper, Pep whatever his name is.

sorry i don't engage in magical thinking hypotheticals that you lot love to trot out. i'll cross the two trophies bridge next year when it happens. i will tell you, i'll still think he's an absolute cunt of a man.

Geoff Scott needed to go. His record with injuries was a running joke way before Ange.

We had VDV, Romero and Maddison go out long term, Richy and Perisic during Ange first season and Scott was there for those. Perisic was warming up in training, Richy was already broken by Geoff Scott before Ange arrived, Maddison was essentially kicked to shit until his ankle went vs Chelsea and VDV was obviously a hamstring.

I get it’s easier for people to understand if the injuries are all 100% Ange but there’s definitely more to it than that
