Can see why it was done, however I believe the injury crisis has been glossed over as if not important at all. Fair to say he should have won more PL games, but I think all managers would have struggled with that many injuries to the most critical players at once.

For me the abuse he gets is a bit over the top and unsavory. It's also very cringy and awkward to hear supposed fans belittling the EL win. As if we usually win CLs every 2 years ffs.

I really liked how he stuck up for us defending us from the media agendas, I don't think we have had anyone defend us quite like that.

Will be interesting to see where he ends up next. As for us well we begin yet another cycle and hope for the best again. I hope we might break our wage structure and sign some real quality to raise the levels a bit. Imagine if we could bring in a Van De Vaart or Davids level now for Bergvall, Moore, Gray, Odobert, Yang etc to learn from. But we'll be fucking around over the compensation deal for Frank.

£10mil?
Hmmm
How about £1 million, and we'll build you a cheese room?

Disappointed, but we all expected this to happen.

All of the togetherness, momentum and euphoria from the cup final win has been immediately wiped from the dressing room and Spurs are back to square one.

Ive never seen such an outpouring of emotion from a group of players and, I expect Levy will be receiving a number of transfer requests in the coming weeks.

Just as we sacked Poch after getting us to champs league final - Levy now has $$$ in his eyes.

Ange will have no issue finding another job and like I have said, I fully expect him to be lifting the premier league title soon. In the short term.....it wouldn't surprise me to see him manging at the World Cup next year.

Ange gone
Romero gone
Son gone
Porro gone

Back to square one.
Now beyond doubt you're a troll.

His message was nice. Good luck to him. Now that he's left with grace I'll remember those first 10 weeks, how exhilarating that insane swashbuckling match against Chelsea was, and Bilbao. The rest is water under the bridge.

Wonder what trophy he'll win and for whom in 2026.
I will always remember that Chelsea game , not because of the highline or the 2 sending offs or the 2 injuries .
But for the first 20 minutes of football , it was possibly the most beautiful 20 minutes of attacking football I've watched in my 64 years , how we didn't score I'll never know ,and if we had that's what it would have been remembered for because we would have gone on and won . Then possibly the whole narrative that now exists might not .
But yeah , that first 20 mins , magical .

Harry7 makes way more sense when you realise the 7 stands for 7 years old.

This is the only part that has any real value:

And while Postecoglou always had an explanation ready for a defeat or bad run, the contradictions caught up with him. He said the players would “adjust” physically to his methods, but in his second season the injuries were worse than ever. He said his high-risk approach would never change, but success in the Europa League owed more to the Ange-wall than Ange-ball. Why was that pragmatism embraced in Europe but ignored to his cost in the Premier League? He warned against the idea of one trophy being a “holy grail” for Tottenham but before the final said winning in Bilbao could be a definitive moment. He said he loved the tough times when his methods were questioned but when those questions came in the aftermath of defeats, he regularly refused to answer them.

The rest is mainly arse-licking nonsense.

The list of self inflicted injuries beggars belief.

I believe that Levy interviewed the physios either individually or as a group when the injury list was at it's height in order to discover exactly what was happening.

He would have gleaned enough to understand that their advice was not being taken seriously by Ange and this would result on what unfolded. A smaller squad, full of inexperience hampered by a manager who wouldn't listen to professional medocal advice.

I truly think this figured in Levy's decision, i mean why run the risk another repeat of this next season?

I've said a lot about him, but at no point did it strike me that he'd lost the dressing room.

They were clearly playing for him.

The only problem was that they were playing for HIM.
Everything's well until the appalling last sentence. These lads are a proper bunch and respectful of the club and fans. Stop bringing down whosoever that's close to Ange. At least they are grateful to him, unlike some fans.

maybe I’m in the minority, but I feel we won the Europa in spite of him, rather than because. In the cold light of day, we were big favourites to win the tournament at the beginning and we did just that!

I think the timing of his exit is perfect! I doubt he could top what he has already achieved and next season if we started poor all the memories of him confronting fans, cupping his ear, never changing up the team which resulted in injuries will all come flooding back.

When we played the top sides we are beaten tactically and with CL football there will be no easy games what so ever

What's that got to do with Ange's style of football sucking balls??

I've continually commended them on surmounting his inadequacies to bring the cup home.

That post isn't about them - it's about HIM.

Which is why I capitalised HIM.

I know a lot didn't like his tactics and lack of flexibility but how do people feel about his ability as a motivator?

Seemed to be his biggest strength.

I’m so fucking happy he’s gone. I’m really excited about the new season now with CL football and hopefully a manager who actually has a clue. Bring it on.

We did it, we finally got what we wanted. Fair play to the club for absolutely seeing the reality of the situation and acting on it.
Unfortunately Frank has no experience in CL, not even Europe. And yes, back to top 6-8 with no trophies.
