So we're aiming that high then, or do we want something better?
What about in the last 15? And how have they done? Between them?
If you go back 15 years, Celtic has made the knockout stages of the CL twice. What about in the last 15? And how have they done? Between them?

The spl has become one of the worst leagues in Europe! Winning there and getting humiliated in Europe is not the land of giants!
How did Gerrard do at villa? How did villa do when a competent coach took over? That is exactly what we are looking at.
So they've won 11 games in how many? How many times have they been beaten? Fucking way more than they won!!!If you go back 15 years, Celtic has made the knockout stages of the CL twice.
Between them they have beaten Shakhtar Donetsk, Milan, Benfica, Villareal, Barcelona, Ajax, Anderlecht, Stuttgart, Lyon and PSV in the Champions League in that time.
Ok do you really think you can simply transfer a brand of playing and be successful between a pseudo league and one of the best in the world? Why didn't Gerrard win? Why did his replacement do so well? Because it's about his coaching ability!!! Not just mouthing off about style. You've yet to give anyone any tangible reasons as to why his brand of football isn't translatable to the Premier League
Even the non-Old Firm sides European record, while extremely minnow-y, isn't quite as bad as I expected. (I'm just diving into Wikipedia now)If you go back 15 years, Celtic has made the knockout stages of the CL twice.

Shouldnt be too long, I'll get back to you after I've finished with your mum
FFS having live up there for a while I know even they are humiliated when it come to thier results in Europe.Even the non-Old Firm sides European record, while extremely minnow-y, isn't quite as bad as I expected. (I'm just diving into Wikipedia now)
Motherwell did get knocked out by an Icelandic side in 2015, and even worse, Hearts lost to a Maltese side at home in 2017.
But in general the other teams beat the minnow countries then fall to the first real team they play.
Aberdeen did play a 2-2 draw at home against Bayern Munich in the first leg of a UEFA Cup knockout tie in 2008 though, that's pretty good.
Dundee United beat AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of an ECL qualifier this year too (don't ask what happened in the second leg in Holland)
Maybe we should look at their manager who did that rather than the one who got 2 CL points from 18They also drew with Guardiola's City twice.
I believe Celtic are one of the only teams, Guardiola has never beat.
You noticed that too, eh?Body language is saying that he's about to sign a new contract.
Today may be the last game of the BigAnge era here in Glasgow. The weather is fucken marvelous. I'm in shorts enjoying a flat white on one of Glasgow's finer pavement cafes. It has occurred to me that my subtle calf-sized Spurs tattoo may, for the first time in these parts, be a controversial emblem placing me in mortal danger.

Winning in the spl with a team whose wages are multiples higher against 10 out of 11 opponents is not an achievement in terms of style of football.
It's just a case of having all the best players by a country mile. Litterlly anybody could win the Scottish league with either of the old firm now.
Maybe we should look at their manager who did that rather than the one who got 2 CL points from 18
By saying, "maybe I shouldn't be managing this club" after the Burnley game, I think? And I know that maybe it was tongue-in-cheek, but still, that's a uniter?!When he first arrived he did mate,
That first stretch he was like a tiger pacing the touch line and willed us to beat woolwich to 4th.
Was only after the summer transfer window he started talking us down and sulking
