I can support this. Will be fun to see us try and play good football again. Will probably mean that we at least focus on targeting players of a good technical level. Seems a good man, happy to see somebody with his journey in football make it to a big club, even if that club happens to be ours and he happens to be a pretty big risk. Really hard to emphasise quite how bad the non-Celtic/Rangers teams are in that league.

I hope the fixture list is kind over the first few games of the season.

Start off shit and he might soon start to realise he's out of his depth.

Even Luton away is a tougher game than any Celtic may face in Scotland apart from when they face Rangers.

Hardly any gimmes in the PL especially for us in the state we're in at present.

Will be behind him, hope he is successful. He has a big job on his hands, but at least he can come in with fresh eyes and shake it up a bit. He doesn't seem the type to be a yes man, which seems good.

Allegedly he is not bringing any coaching staff from Celtic with him. The search will then continue for a coaching team.
Ange popping on an eyepatch and turning up at the houses of former players...

Nobody knows how it will pan out if we get this guy but a solid start will be absolutely central to any likelihood of success I feel.

The relatively good thing should be a certain lack of expectation, if not hope, especially if Kane leaves.

I guess my biggest fear is the impact on the players if we struggle early doors against the smaller teams and have no get out of jail card to rely on, recognising that sheer talent tends to trump all the effort in the world.

this is my prediction , we get the Aussie , Kane leaves and goes to Madrid , we finish 8th but play decent football and win the FA cup in his first season, Kane on the other hand watches Barca win the league and Bayern win the CL, maybe Kane was the curse after all! :contehandshead:

I honestly get all the doubts, I have my doubts too. But the attitude of some on here is like a five year old whos ice cream has just fallen out the cone and onto the floor.

George Harmon is my favourite Ross county player ( he played for holy name u7’s with my son then went to West Brom 😂)
As the player who scored the injury time goal to force extra time and then converted his pen in the shoot out to help Ross county win their play off I’d imagine George is quite a few Ross county fans favourite player at the minute - smashing lad really glad for him

Counterpoint: Spurs fans in the past have been far too passive & accepting of whatever is thrown at them. New generations of fans may just be that bit more ambitious and willing to stomp their feet.
