, know you're a bit dim so I'll explain it for you...he's on a 12 month rolling contract at Celtic on fucking miniscule wages compared to a club like Tottenham, especially considering the last few managerial appointments. Compensation won't cost much, nor will sacking him compared to the last guys.It's a cheap gamble, which is primarily financially motivated for the most part IMO, as per usual with ENIC.

I think we are on the slide , but difficult to put at Ange’s door , he is inheriting a pretty poor squad with an owner who is unlikely to address it properly . If we are going to be uncompetitive for a few years , uncompetitive with style and a flourish is preferable to uncompetitive , boring and negative football .
8-10th next season with style is about where i see it , quite possibly lower than that for the first 12 games or so . Ange is going into a gunfight with a pea shooter , with Levy likely in my opinion saying it’s a bazooka

Fans are a huge part of the problem, because they don't push back enough against Levy's abuse and keep shelling out into his con-machine, whatever fuckshit he pulls.

The issue is Levy's stewardship and methodology around the club's footballing side.
He's a fucking cunt and he's not getting another penny from me.
We are right to have these concerns. For a long time now the business side has been run immaculately while the football side hasn't and moreover fixing the football side still requires those on the business side, to initiate the fix for the football side.
BUT
If you look for positives, it's my default to do so, then here is what I can see:
There is a coherent pattern immerging on the football side. Look at the names that we've been linked to for the Head Coach role: The names that kept coming to the top of the list were: Slot, Ange & Kompany - These names fit exactly the profile we've been told we are looking for and perhaps more importantly they are very, very tactically similar to each other! (Even Nagelsmann & Enrique fit the profile to a degree as whilst both are very well known I would say that they are still up-and-coming managers - both have a lot to prove as managers, but they do sit outside the profile of those previously mentioned).
I take this as someone on the football side is doing good football things by profiling, this is NOT a scattergun approach. I assume this comes from the team that's already in place, so Steinsson or Gabbanini.
Obviously, there's still a ton of stuff to be filled in, I don't even know if we are going for a DoF or a more specific Technical role (maybe even more than one????). But someone somewhere who knows ball is making recommendations, or maybe even leading this. That much is clear.

I didn't bother renewing my one hotspur membership for that exact reason.
Doesn't mean I won't back the new boss though.
