Guys literally only just had 2 years experience in “top flight” football at the age of 57

How much of that success down to Ange and how much of it was down to Celtic being the gatekeepers of the scottish league?

Is he gunna bring over signings from yokohoma marinos in the summer

This is crazier more i look into it

Nothing irrational about my dislike of Rodgers. He was managing the dippers when they tried to use 9/11 as a basis for recruiting a fan base in New York.

The dippers are a scum club, and he was front and centre in that recruitment drive, playing on the grief of the New Yorkers by claiming they "identified" with them due to their own tragedy. Obviously glossing over the fact that the New Yorkers died at the hands of terrorists, whilst the dippers killed their own.

He changed from a manager to pondscum from that point onwards in my eyes.
Reminder, he did it in Boston as well.

:freund:

That one was, at least, only a year after the fact but the grief-merchantry is quite something.

I hope a championship club comes in and offers him a managers job. Get him started properly, learn his trade, and maybe come back to the club one day on merit.
I don't think a spell working for Postecoglou will be bad for his development, quite the opposite in fact.

He'll have learnt first hand, under Mourinho and Conte, how man management is NOT to be done.

He's still very young as yet, so time is on his side as far as a managerial appointment is concerned, and seeing how you bring a club and fans together can only be to his benefit. Another string to the bow to help him progress in the career with, hopefully, fewer stumbles.

Yeah but have you read some of the copium? That’ll really convince you he’s the one.

Hasn't Ange just won the Treble?? Albeit in 'little Scawtlund'!

Some might say the French league is at best a 3 horse race.... (It certainly was in the early '90s with only Marseille, Monaco and maybe Nantes to speak of...) not a hint of PSG at the time... Monaco were the 'money men' back then....
Hummm PSG won the title in 1994, were runners-up the season before that (just 2pts behind Marseille), 3rd behind OM & Monaco in 1991-1992. They were backed by Canal Plus back then, so their budget had nothing to envy that of the other top clubs.

In Europe, they won the Cup Winners' Cup in 1996, reached the final in 1997. Also played in several quarters & semis in CL and UEFA Cup.

So yeah "not a hint of PSG at the time" is just rewriting history, my man...

Celtic fan here, if you want to see an example of anges style of play watch the 1st 60 minutes of the Celtic/Real game from last season. Now imagine that football but with better players. In for a treat

And now you know why. Low expectation manager whos just good enough to have an idea about coaching but not big enough that he’ll start demanding money for players

Within his means loosely translated as within the set budget we have plus any money made from player sales the same as every manager bar Pep and Ten Haag and whoever manages Real,Barca or PSG, big non story

He will have a summer training camp identity who doesn't suit the style and flog em. If we are keeping Kane the 3 big signings that have to happen to matter what are GK,CB creative mid.

That's what 150 million spend max, plus Kulu and Porro signings taking us to 220 no matter what we do.

I can imagine there will be a big exodus of squad players this season to try balance it out but no matter what, we are gonna have to spend this window.

One thing I've taken from this post is having clicked on your tweet provided, Twitter is full of absolute morons. The state of humanity on that platform, it just needs to be deleted and scrapped because it's full of absolute class A idiots.
At least wait until the law allows for tracking up addresses through it.

We can then have a Thanos style purge and raise the planet's IQ several levels.
