Well yes you can find examples either way and I'm sure we can go all day to counter each other's points but I was merely using that as an example because the narrative in here suggests that all club signings = bad and we are the only club who do it which is wrong.

These are stupid arguments. Spurs fans may claim they want to see better football but they don't want to be 15th, getting beat more often than we win and saying "yeah but we had more of the ball than then, so bonza"

Celtic walked the league. They were fucking battered in Europe. The season before, they went out before even getting to the group stage, then went out of the ropey league at the qualifying stage and then went out of the conference league at the first qualifying stage.

There is absolutely nothing you or any fanboi can do or say to show this guy has a hope in fucking hell in a real league where there are more than 2 teams that compete.

You completely missed my point. People are shit bagging him saying he can’t step up a level. I’m demonstrating that with limited time look at what he achieved. Just imagine what he would’ve done with Celtic at the next tilt at CL!

Look for the performance rather than the result in the early weeks/months. It started to become clear what Poch was trying to instil even if the results weren't happening. (conversely, flip that to the dinosaur, he got some early results but the performances weren't convincing at all - typified in our 5-2 thrashing of Southampton).

I'm not expecting Ange to be the greatest manager of the modern era. My expectation is for him to play a more entertaining brand of football, something that's enjoyable to watch. Let that unite a toxic fanbase where dickheads wear purple and gold rather than the club colours! Embarrassing.

Achieve this then let's see where that takes us.

I get what Tommy means, but gotta say that bit still worries me a bit cause we bloody know we have lazy fuckers but, more importantly, right cowards in our squad. Players who don't track back; players who don't put tackles in; players who don't go into physical battles or go in half-arsed; players who give strikers plenty space to get their shots out; players who just spend their time waving, shouting & pointing...we know who they are.

The last thing they need is for the top dog to tell them it's okay and that he'll take the fall for their subpar efforts. A gigantic kick up the garry, on the other hand...

Fun fact, Australia beat South Korea 2-1 in extra time in the 2015 Asian cup final, Ange was the manager of Australia, Heung-Min Son scored the equaliser for South Korea in the 91st minute to send it to extra time.

He achieved nothing. He did exactly what was expected of him. Celtic are the best team in the SPL by miles. He did nothing more than Rodgers. Nothing more than Lennon. Nothing more than Delia. Nothing more than O'Neil.

You're an ozzy and you're proud, I get it. But don't convince yourself his CV has anything on it worth shouting about to PL football fans.
