You could see what Mason was trying to get them to do in the first half of that game, unfortunately it unraveled in the second half.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a few performances like that initially, but it’s all part of implementing a new system
Sure it was the Scottish league , but he still won the domestic treble , not sure how often that’s done over there , but he done it by playing attacking football as well.
I’m fully aware it’s a completely different kettle of fish playing in the Scottish league compared to the PL but for me he is a project manager and he wants to play attacking football , we haven’t had that for years!
Realistically I’m not sure who else we could have gone for who A actually wants to be here and doesn’t think they are doing us a favour and B, someone who wants to actually play attacking football!
