I really didn't like the hire and I don't like all this "Big Ange" stuff, but I think Spurs should give him three seasons no matter what happens this season short of relegation (which won't happen). At some point you have to decide on a direction and stay with it long enough for it to work out or not. Credibility has to be reestablished, the fans need to be entertained, and the younger players have to be developed. Maybe things will come together sooner than later, but whether they do or not this business of starting and stopping and changing directions has to stop.

The success (or not) of recent managers at Spurs can’t really be judged because they were dismissed so quickly.

Fingers crossed, Ange won’t be treated the same way.
 
It could be said that the toxic atmosphere about the place accelerated the demise of our previous managers, but it feels different now.

We'll see how things go during a bad run of results to really make a judgement...

Who can blame them? We've sold one player so far, we're selling Kane. Poch talked about painful rebuild, it is very painful and painfully slow.

Hopefully the bald midget makes a decision on Kane and then gets going with the exits. I’m desperate to cull Lloris, Dier and Hojberg. I don’t want any second chances etc, get them out

Pundits just seem to exist to state the bleeding obvious. In their world Pep and Klop will always be brilliant, and elite managers like Conte will always be elite. Their heads will probably explode this year with the likes of Newcastle breaking up the status quo.

Whilst I think it's too early for us to really challenge, I think we'll surprise a few people, and going under the radar will be good for us.
