Fast, dynamic, aggressively attacking football.

Totally fearless at the heart of it.

Everything everyone demanded after Jose/Conte!

This way of playing demands technical ability for it to succeed.

Especially in this league.

Summer window crucial.
Those are just words. Pretty sure that's what at least 10/20 managers in the PL strive towards... all that matters is what is shown on the pitch.

And it's anything but fearless.

I think he's twigged what a fucking nigh on impossible job this is in a bastard of an unforgiving league. Nothing personal on him but it isnt going to happen, it really isnt taking Celtic from 2nd to 1st or winning the J League.

I dont think anyone will take any joy from changing manager but i think we have to i'm afraid. Its possibly too early but i cant stomach us fishing around the managerial bargain bin in October and i'm pretty certain thats what will happen.

Exactly, get shot now before we waste next season too.

Spurs have a good squad, minimal injuries. There's no excuse.

The most concerning thing at the moment isn’t set pieces or even our defending in general. It’s that we don’t look dangerous with the ball. Not even a little bit. The players look scared to actually play and only release the handbrake when we are chasing a game in the second half. I see a team that doesn’t enjoy being out there, that is something that normally spells doom. No matter the tactics, the players have to enjoy playing football. If they don’t it will never work.

We currently look like we did under Nuno where nobody buys into what the manager is asking them to do. What is weird is that we clearly did buy into Ange’s ideas at the start but as opponents have wised up the team has lost all confidence as our flaws have become exposed. He’s got to give them belief again, if he can’t then his tenure will end sooner than expected. I will not accept watching this shit for £1600 next season.

Game over.

Players clearly don't believe in what he is doing as a whole, Bayern getting Tuchel really fucked us.

Sad because he seems a good guy but to not change his style or anything whilst still losing isn't very smart.

We need to be honest as supporters of the club. I don't think it's kneejerk to suggest at this point it's unlikely he will turn things around before the end of the season.

Which leaves us going into next season on the back of some really bad results and a fanbase and boardroom unconvinced.

And this is the rub really, do we want to spend £100m+ building a squad for a man who has come from the SPL (which let's be honest, is a farmers league compared to the PL, no offense) who needs to prove to us he is good enough but looks on the surface to be drowning under the pressure and regressing rather than improving?

I think if he was trying different approaches to games and trying to fix the basics like set pieces and we were playing well but just not at the quality level to compete then we would all be behind him.

But we aren't playing well, the team has the look of a team that wants the manager gone if anything, no effort, no drive, they all look like they are lost and don't know what they should be doing and on top of that Ange doesn't seem to be learning from his own mistakes.

If I was a gambling man, it's certainly not a horse I would back.

100% This is the reality. Ange got equally cursed and blessed by them first 11 games. Crazily good football some of the first time passing and movement were a joy but this is our real level.

We are miles off a title challenge and I'm going to be honest I don't belive inverting both the fullbacks and sub contracting so much of your attack to players coached to be fullbacks is the genius move he thinks it is.

But the job was always this big and Harry Kane is no longer filling holes in both boxes. Whoever is in charge the squad needs the addition of six elite technically adept footballers ( Bergvall was a great buy).

Not filled with faith in the way the man is dealing with obvious issues, and he is talking way more crap pro-rata than either Nuno or Jose, massive red flag, I'd honestly not be shocked if Levy reached out to Pochettino and Postecoglou was gone in the summer. Rinse repeat and here we go again.

Thing is, the technical players don't even need to be "elite" footballers.

They just need to be of the mindset that playing brave football is the right way to play football. Of course, we need a 6, wide men and a striker who will all move that needle but we could easily buff out the squad with technically good footballers to replace the likes of Hojbjerg, Emerson, Davies etc.

I mean fucking hell, (not advocating it) someone like Pascal Gross would be a better fucking midfield option than bringing on Hojberg each week. Such as how easy it is to go and find technically good footballers. Kamada is a free transfer in the summer, bring him in.

Right time to put on the grown up trousers.....

Ange isn't going anywhere...... And neither should he.

We need to stick with him and see what can happen when you actually stick with a manager for a whole season and give him a couple of transfer windows to instigate his methods and his style.

The cold hard facts are that if we get four points from the next 4 games...... Ange's record for his first season in charge will be better than Poch's was in the first season not just his first season at Spurs...but his first season in the Premier League.

Everyone lauds Poch as one of our best managers ever and it looks like Ange will surpass Poch's points total in his first season.

There were plenty of bad patches in Poch's first season as well and many similar runs and there was definitely some iffy football and patches.

Poch had arguably a much stronger side and less competition than Ange has had.

Trust in Ange and see where it takes us....... Changing the manager again will be pointless until we've given Postecoglou a fair crack of the whip.

That fair crack of the whip is 6 points from remaining games, and a marked improvement in performance. Fall short of that, and we should get in for Dyche !
