Apologies for ruining your happy clappy, everything is always awesome, Ange wank fest. I'm venting because I've not been this angry at a Spurs side since the dark days of AVB.

You can put me on ignore if you want and carry on pretending he's the greatest manager in the entire universe. In the meantime I'll post whatever the fuck I like thanks.
This is worse than Mourinho losing to a coach in jail?

Yes of course Levy needs to back him fully. Buy technically and versatile strong players.

Ange isn't a manager that needs niche players like Conte and his wing backs.

If he still fails then at least the squad will be stronger for the next manager.
Yep. I thought the whole point was to settle on a style and a philosophy so that if one manager fails, another of a similar mindset can take over and have the tools necessary to continue to the project with the players available. At the moment, Ange is in the driving seat and hopefully he succeeds. If not, we find someone who looks at the faults and corrects them, but the roots remain the same.

You speak for yourself mate. I don't appreciate the defeats.

I think Ange needs time he hasn't even been able to establish his own core of the team.

Hasn't bought in his own CM or Striker

He will be given a list of players to choose from

He has already said that is how it works

He has the final say on which of those are signed

He doesn't decide who makes the list

Levy is too much of a control freak to allow that in my humble opinion

Yeah and it’s the same for last 30 fucking years at Stamford Bridge.

We played solid against Woolwich, just were unlucky snd bad at set-pieces. We were horrible at Newcastle. We were great at Villa.
We are fifth. Without HARRY FUCKING KANE. That’s solid for me.

How long have you watched football to post stuff like that?

SOLID? AGAINST ARSESCUM?
We fucking lubed our asses and put them up to be ass-raped.

I was in the fucking stadium. Our players jogged around like little pussies. Zero urgency and fight, no passion. nothing.

And seriously ??? UNLUCKY with setpieces? Yea, sure. And I am unlucky with my finishing not to have Messi numbers in Champions League. It is systematic, we have been conceding goals left and right and center from set pieces. In TWO derby games we have conceded FOUR. It is not luck, it is pathetic ignorance with no improvement.

Against Villa we scored last 2 goals on 90+1 and 90+4. After playing against 10 men since 65th minute.

Not to mention 2 clean sheets from last 24 EPL games. How is that solid?

But is it?
Or do we have a another scenario where we have a load of players the next coach doesn't want and can't use?
This is a massive gamble now. Do we go all in on Ange and hope it pays off, or do we get out now before digging a hole so deep we can't get out?
I can honestly see it panning out like the season after Bale left, where we have a load of shiney new players and loads of hope, but then discover the coach doesn't know what he's doing and is gone by November (to quote Wycleff)

I would probably say from an offensive point of view, that was our worst of the season. Considering how angry Ange was in that first half, I can sympathize.

Why the fuck are the likes of Sarr and Porro constantly passing back when they are in acres of space? I will never understand it and I dont understand why they do it. It's clearly not instruction. Because they weren't doing it earlier in the season. Why the fuck does Kulusevski constantly commit stupid fouls? What's the point of Emerson Royal?

Said it numerous times, Ange would get rid of 3/4s of this squad if Levy would oblige with it. The lack of technical quality in this team is astonishing. You mix that in with pretty much every single player being off form and you've got a recipe for disaster.

Ange (and Spurs) are suffering right now from the fact the previous 3 managers didn't fancy technical players. BIG fucking transfer window coming up because we need to start getting fucking ruthless. Anyone who is genuinely not suited to playing front foot football needs to be moved on. We can't continue to carry these fucking passengers.

The season has pretty much dwindled into nothingness tbh. I just wish Ange would be brave enough from Liverpool onwards to just play players he BELIEVES have a future here. If Hojbjerg is leaving in the summer, stop giving him minutes. Give Gils' minutes to Moore. Reward that excellent U21 team that have just got themselves through to the Premier League U21 final tonight. God, they'd have performed with some pride tonight.

I get what you mean.
But wait...

Talking about technical players. Sure, our depth is not great.
But we are talking about side of Vicario; Porro, Romero, VDV, Udogie, Bissouma, Bentancur, Kulusevski, Maddison, Son and Johnson.

WHO from them is not technically good? Ok. Johnson is rough. Kulu does dwindle on the ball for too long. But other 9? Not technical? I have to disagree here. I mean we obviously have to add quality and technical players over the summer, but as an excuse I don't see that really working when we talk of this group.

Well, it does depend on the club signing good players, and not Emerson Royal and Bryan Gil like in 2021, I'll give you that.

Really disapointed, both for Ange and the Spurs fans, not sure why things haven't gone better.
I know it's a massive step up in class from anything else he's done, but he's been given the resources to match that gulf in class.

It's not like he's being asked to perform in Formula One with a Morris Minor.
He's maybe not got the resources of Man City etc, but he's had decent backing.

Perhaps too much? I remember a crap cowboy film where somebody said "beware of the man who only has one gun, because he'll know how to use it"

Whilst he had a good squad of players at Celtic, there was really only one first 11 when fit and a fairly predicitable number of players off the bench.

I think he has too many options, and is not picking a team that is greater than the sum of it's parts. And that's what he needs to do.

Regardless of his system he needs to pick 11 players that compliment each other and have five or six on the bench that he bring in without weakening the first 11.

I would like to see him get at least the first half of next season, but he needs to show that he has now learned what a big jump in class he's made.

So if they don't work on tactics or set piece defending at all, what the fuck are they doing in training?
putting emphasis on width play mate, get the ball to brennan and sonny mate, watch the magic they can produce mate. or get sonny in the 9 mate, we wont have a box threat but we dont need that with our wing system mate, well get the ball to the final third and do absolutely fuck all with it mate.

its the midfields problem mate, they arent listening to me mate. nothing to do with my recruits mate, i cant admit ive got in some absolute stinkers that do not fit this style of football mate...or maybe i just havent got a fucking clue what im doing mate. ive only managed pub sides and now im in the big leagues mate.

But even then, we might sign good players but when Ange fails, the next guy doesn't need them.

It's a huge gamble to go out buying actual, quality players for one coach if there's major doubts about him.
I know what you mean, but signings are always a gamble. It's up to the scouts and DOF to buy versatile, technically strong players that most managers would use.

If the club won't sign players because they don't trust Ange, then just sack him already.

And at this stage, i'd be surprised if there's anyone left who hasn't at least got some doubt about him.
I think some are in denial but i'd wager our board and technical directors are starting to ask questions. Not that they shouldnt come under scrutiny as well. Other than Contes good 3 months 2 seasons ago its been an utterly abysmal 5 years and i dont think we're a lot further on now than we were then.
