By demanding the manager wants us to lose to City?
When Conte said the club was failing because of the ownership (never mentioned the fans) it was seen as an attack on the club and "throwing it under the bus" but when Ange said it yesterday in a more disrespectful way towards the fans and club it's ok and he's right?
Makes absolutely zero sense.
You don't sit in a presser and say "I don't care what the fans think" and downplay our biggest rivalry at the club then talk about someone needing counselling because of them sharing opinions of Spurs supporters and expect people to enjoy hearing that on the eve of a game which could hand the title to woolwich, it shows a fundamental misunderstanding of what football is about imo.

We have some idiots talking about half and half shirts and cheering goals for City, we have other idiots saying they would rather have Woolwich win the league than City and then we have the sensible people who hate seeing Spurs lose but understand it's necessary to stop those nomads winning the league.

Nobody said Ange had to come out and say we should lose, the majority of the criticism I am seeing towards him is how he spoke disrespectfully about the fans, the arrogance he was showing and his comments about counselling, all of which was unnecessary and showed a lack of understanding.
Anybody who is criticising him for not saying "we are going to throw the game" are again, idiots, he would never say that and would be stupid to say it.
Maybe try and view things in a less black and white way and understand why people may not have liked the way he approached those questions on the eve of a game like this.

One thing I'm good at in real life is assessing someone's character and I see him as an extremley arrogant person that uses charm and his 'jokey'' nature to hide it. Conte unfortunately had a language barrier issue that didn't allow him the luxury of being able to get away with it for so long but 'Big Ange' mate routine won't work for much longer and the mask will eventually fall for the majority.
It's good you can use laughing emojis when I'm talking about our rivals who have proceeded to dismantle us in our own pitch 2 seasons running and are challenging for the league. Unfortunately I live in Islington so I can't see anything funny about it. I'll still wear my numerous spurs tops and my spurs cap through Angel, Holloway, Finsbury Park, Highbury and Islington, Essex Rd when our manager downplays rivarlies and uses our lack of trophies as a way to get his point across. I think Ange is being goaded by the Woolwich-loving media into claiming the team and the fans 100% want to win this match. He is easy to manipulate and doesn't see the media having evil intent.
They will even "con" him into trying harder than they tried against Woolwich last week and he might be dumb enough to do his most motivational pre-match dressing room team talk.
I would say it's 90% Spurs fans want to lose this match and then save it for the Sheffield Utd game to ensure Europa League status from Saudi Arabia FC or Chavski.
