I don't think it will happen, but Ange to England opens the door for Poch to return and I'd be happy with that.

I just want what's best for both club and country, strange as that might sound to some.

I reckon re-hiring Poch is probably gonna be Levy's next stunt when the fans inevitably start getting on his back in the not too distant future. Probably already started getting his ducks in a row tbh.

Manchester City may target Ange Postecoglou if Pep Guardiola leaves next year - and the Tottenham Hotspur boss would reportedly be interested.

I think anyone who takes this Postecoglou to England story seriously (it seems many aren't anyway), is out of touch with the realities of modern football. Managers don't walk out on premier league clubs (especially one of the more famous ones), for international football anymore. Maybe 10-15 years ago it could've happened, but not now. The prestige/power/rewards of the premier league are too high, and the interest around international football outside of major tournaments has regressed greatly it seems.

As for this story that "it is believed" that Postecoglou might be tempted to leave us for Man City. Now, that may well end up being true.. However, I am pretty certain that zero sources were involved in the writing of that story. No one around Postecoglou is leaking that to the press. They're just not. That just has to be the writer deciding that "well I think he'd leave Spurs for Man City" and for the english football press, that translates to, "it is believed".

The Ange click bait going around is so green and stinky that I can't believe people are nibbling on it, seriously this season is obviously about getting Spurs a Top 4 finish before taking over from Carlo at RM for a couple years then nursing Messi through another WC campaign.

Just to let you know there’s zero chance Ange manages England. He will be here for at least the next two seasons unless he gets sacked.
He would be in the mix if Guardiola were to leave, so maybe he's out of here after this season. If not, he should be here for three or four seasons. He cultivates the fan base so even if he doesn't do well the Big Ange show won't be cancelled anytime soon.

He would have to have a staggeringly good season with us for this to become a reality. Next season would need to be top 3 minimum and a major trophy to even get a chance of a sniff to been seen as worthy of filling the boots of Guardiola.
