If he isn't hammering home to the board our need for a top winger then he will never succeed.

We have a group of players that a good, well-rounded, manager could come in a get playing effectively. He can talk about silverware until the cows come home but until he learns how to coach a team so they don't concede piss poor goals every week it's never going to happen.
A team with our back four should not be conceding the amount of goals we have under Ange, it shows a flaw in the system; something that should have been worked on and improved pre season but based on the evidence, it hasn't been at all.
If he doesn't adapt as a manager I cannot see him lasting the season and I absolutely hate the idea of another "rebuild" but he's really got to pull it together and fast imo.
Make no mistake, that is a very poor result today.
It's worked for Woolwich. The same as anything it's about working on things finding deficiencies and making them better. What does a set piece coach do really though than other coaches can’t take on? It’s not like our set pieces have been great pre Ange. A defensive coach will know how to defend corners or free kicks? The idea that a designated coach will make us solid as a rock is a little naive.
Stubbornness is only a positive quality in football if you're actually RIGHT about what you're stubborn about. So 1 tactic that may or may not work and he will not change whatsoever
This won't last long if he continues
I agree mate, it might not be what people want to hear but I honestly think he's been found out and the prem is just above his level as a manager tbh, especially at a club with top 4 aspirations. We have a group of players that a good, well-rounded, manager could come in a get playing effectively.
So, I wouldn't foresee a rebuild, as such, more of just system adaptation.
But the way we play just isn't going to work, if we want to do anything significant.
We just don't have enough quality components.
And, really, Ange's style is just flakey af in the prem.
Let's just be fucking real.
It's too FRAGILE.
As I've mentioned before, tactically flexible Graham Potter would get better results over a season with this exact squad.
They already know tbf, mate.Leicester signposting to the rest of the league how to frustrate and beat Tottenham
Just remember his 2 defensive stars at Celtic were two players nowhere near good enough for Spurs. You can get away with these defensive frailties in the Scottish pub league managing Celtic. Not here in the prem. I suspect baldies trigger finger is just starting to irritate a little

Hmmm. Maybe not so much come October if we’re 8/9thNot a chance he wont want to piss the majority of fans off right now. A lot like ange.
