They can take a victory from the result for sure and they fought really hard for it.

But if they want to be honest about it, they gave up 7 good chances and probably should have got punished. They weren’t punished and were clinical with their chance to earn themselves a point. Fair play to them for that.

You reckon City, Liverpool, Arse or United would have him as a marquee signing? What will be the excuse when we soon have as much money as a couple of them.

We drew a game of football last night, we played really well especially in the first half. Unfortunately those chances we didn't take and yeah it cost us but the 'I told you so' posts are abit comical.

We have fans who were sick of counter attack, now they are bored of a manager trying to play a more progressive style of football. Maybe follow handball or volleyball instead.

It’s what is wrong with us as a fan base, we talk about player loosing their shit, when it comes down to it we are no better. Yes we should have won, but the hysteria on here right now is fucking embarrassing. If we were in the trenches I wouldn’t want most people on here beside me. It would be sack the general, sell the captain, *fick off I’m joining the other side*.

Why do u think we are on the same terms as any of the teams u mention? Just wondering why u think we are a top level attraction? Genuinely interested. What do we have as a draw that they don’t?

I wouldn’t want to even go watch a game or have a beer with the ones on here constantly whining and bitching. Imagine spending £100 on tickets, then about the same in beer and travel just to listen to some of these high pitched complainers. Then listen to them just give up and quit at the first sight of adversity.

mate i get it, im frustrated too. but is this because he comes from bournemouth or because you dont rate him personally? if he had the season he had last year for AC milan we would all be buzzing.

can only judge him on his performances for spurs and so far hes had one and last night i thought he looked good. he needs service, thats going to be a struggle with our wide players. hes an upgrade on richy in general play isnt he? and hes a farrrr better striker than son, so surely its an upgrade?

We will soon be competing revenue with most of them. We were in champs league final 5 years ago. Global fanbase growing. All on limited onfield success. Imagine if we actually started competing?
 
I said last season the writing was on the wall and he'll be gone by November.

There are major structural issues with the side and he just doesn't seem to be able to come up with the answers.

I honestly think that signing Johnson for 50 million was absolutely crazy. He's nowhere near good enough.

I do feel for him a little bit because the club has failed to back him by bringing in top wingers, so his system is doomed. But that said, he keeps picking Johnson, he green lit his signing, and he's also made a rod for his own back by making Son captain.

I fail to see him as captain material and he's now well past his best but is essentially made undroppable by Ange.

Son should be little more than an impact player. If people think I'm wrong. ask yourself when do you think the drop off is going to happen for him. It's clear he's been in decline for a while now.

Yet Ange has shown no signs of phasing him out. So typically the club hasn't done enough in the window by fumbling the Neto signing, however Ange hasn't helped himself by being so naive and stubborn.

I'd love to be wrong but I see us getting absolutely hammered by Newcastle and Woolwich and the pressure will start to build.

Whilst we aren't the finished article, the squad is too good to be dropping points like we did last night.

If Ange fails to get a tune out of them he will deservedly be sacked.

What was the point of moving into a larger stadium if our intention isn't to compete? Why would any fan pay top dollar for constant mediocrity? Just out of a sense of loyalty?

I think people who pay these huge sums have a right to complain especially when so many people are earning so much money from our club.

It is just one game though and we probably shouldn't overreact to a disappointing draw, but the fixture list will get tougher from now on and I'm not saying Everton is a must win but...

I just think a lot of us can see us finishing fifth or even eighth and it’s frustrating. But realistically where else are we going to be with this squad? It has had a lot spent on it now, which was needed but is it enough? All the same problems from last season are still there and the manager hasn’t got the player in he wanted.

I suppose realistically we are going to finish where we are expected to. The PL is pretty much set in stone nowadays. It’s losing its excitement. Hopefully the charges stick on city and they’re relegated which at least will spice things up a bit.

Ur contradicting urself here, in a champions league final but we’re not competing? Poch IMO it’s off far too lightly and to be honest so does Kane, semis, finals, failed time and time again, that’s not Levy’s fault. If only Poch had the balls to bench Kane and pick Lucas. But everyone blames Levy for some reason. Not denying he has fucked up from time to time, but it’s mostly the paying staff we worship that’s fucked us.

So you were telling me we only gave up 2 chances (because the two on target in your mind was all that counted) but Leicester gave up 7 despite only conceding 4 on target in the entire game? How does that work?

By your logic we should have also been punished considering the following stats for the second half...

Leicester : 6 shots, 2 on target, 0.96 XG
Tottenham : 5 shots, 2 on target, 0.61 XG

The truth is, they SHOULD have been punished first half and we WERE punished second half for not being clinical enough and for sloppy ill disciplined defending which has been a common theme under this manager.

Any half decent team will have a field day against us

Can't wait for the annual St James Park drubbing and Woolwich taking the piss out of us in our own stadium yet again
