This would make a great pin badge. 🤣
I would certainly buy it, sums up my 45 years supporting this club perfectly 😂

My thoughts exactly. There's nothing you can point to that says the club is headed in the right direction. Or any direction.

The team that went into last season is basically the same one today. Subtract Kane, add Solanke, fine... I'm glad that after a year they decided to sign Kane's replacement.

Being more direct or seeking to dominate are fine but in total, the entire recipe is the same as the one that didn't work last year when we were grateful to finish 5th.

Are we to believe Ange is going to turn water into wine now, absent any signs of progress last year? With all the same faces? That doesn't seem sensible.

It seems far more likely that his seat will be warming progressively and we'll all be brawling in October once again about whether Ange is wrong for the job or he's yet another manager who hasn't been backed adequately.

This truly is purgatory...
They signed Harrys replacement before he left.

Interesting. Bookies usually know their stuff.
Worth keeping an eye on.

lol no they don't, they just cover themselves against the Shortfall in case it happens.

It means there's a load of punters putting money on it, the betting companies will obviously shorten the odds because they don't want to lose money.

The idea that Paddy Power and co have some sort of ITK in the football world and the goings on at Spurs is hilarious :harrylol:

I’m very happy with Ange as our coach and think there has been a huge over reaction because of the result on Monday night

We dominated the game completely bar a 15 minute spell in which Romero left Vardy unmarked and their fans got a lift

If we’d taken more of our numerous chances we’d have won comfortably

The football is great to watch and sets us up to dominate matches, he’s also trying to change the culture of the club, a culture that has been festering for 25 years or so

He needs time, let’s judge him properly at the end of this season, but I for one think he’s the perfect man to take us to where we want to be

Ur basing ur belief that they are the worst team in the league on what? They have Vardy, they will stay up IMO. Cooper is a good coach, not saying they are awsome, but I don’t think they are shite is a bit strong, but yeah we should have won the game easily.
I'm basing it on their fans mostly. They're incredibly pessimistic about the season. They're facing a points deduction as well so I really don't see them staying up, I don't think a 37 year old Vardy will be enough.

I thought the fat cougher would walk around the window of the window after being shafted by the speculative, retail strategy investors at the helm

Draw Sat and another hiding at the the Geordies will see him wave goodbye to Levy and the other idiots

It's difficult isn't it mate.
We all know where the real problem lies. But if we have a manager who exacerbates the problem then what the fuck do you do? Or hope for?
Wait for yet another season to potentially be written off but Christmas?
Tough one.
I hope the season isn't written off, we have been waiting and waiting for something good to happen.
I'm just not seeing any improvement though, it's still the same pattern of possession leading to fuck all, then teams getting through us with ease, at what point is it going to work.

Actually if at least 2 chances, Bentancur's header and Johnson's shot, from the first half went in, everything will be so much better in context. This can also be applied to many games from last season actually.

Everyone thinks we didn't improve from last season. But the fact is we have improved overall in terms of trying to attack from Conte's days. We are just not converting those chances into goals. I bet we are probably top of the pile in not converting goals from chances created.

The more this carries on, the more glaring a miss Kane's departure looks... The 5 players who are playing in front have got to put in goals real fucking soon.

Not buying into this Ange thing anymore. It's been mentioned that we took a year to sign a Kane replacement. Ange decided to spend 50 m on a kid with an unproven record. Was he planning to use him as a striker? Now we have a new striker but a shit winger.

Just impericism ffs. How many managers have he had the last decade?

Give the man time to do his job

What even is the system? He’s attack minded? How? I dont see any style of play or pattern. Just run around and dont defend.
You'll know Postecoglou's system is working when you see quicker breakouts in the build up and some longer diagonal passes out. What I haven't seen, that I expected from everything I heard and read about his system, is Spurs getting into the final third with the other side on their heels. We haven't been breaking down defenses. A worrisome side of Bissouma's situation is that his position is critical to how Spurs play out from the back. I don't know enough about the technical side of the game to say if all this is because other teams are figuring out better how to slow teams who play out from the back or if it is a lack of execution. Either way, I don't think you can say yet whether Postecoglou's system will work or not. If we're at the middle of the season and still slow working the ball to the attack then I'll be concerned.
