No. He’ll only go this season if we’re genuinely struggling in Jan/February.

But he needs some big results. He needs to demonstrate that he can beat our rivals.

Part of the reason his words after the City game were so ill judged. If he ‘just wants to win’, he better start doing so.
I don't think Levy would leave it until after the January window if there's real problems.
He has to decide, if we're in the bottom half whether to spend the money on Ange or someone else. And he's more likely IMO to get uncomfortable backing someone who is failing.

In isolation it probably wouldn't be bad.
But because we're off the back of a terrible 2nd half of last season, it's not in isolation IMO, it's a trend.
play devils advocate...whats he actually got going for him? the only thing i see people say is that its a more exciting watch apparently? im not sure what the exciting bit is? we dont carve teams up and pepper them and make the keeper work. we aren't solid at the back, im excited by watching my team actually create chances and im also excited about watching a defence act like a fucking rock and give fuck all away.

you trust levy to be sharp and take action? im not sure i have that faith in him, if things dont turn and he leaves it till jan its too late and its a whole year down the toilet. i think thats the most likely scenario from now.

he should be gone after the scum game if we only pick up 3 points by then....but he wont.

Levy reacts to the crowd.

When it gets toxic - or they seriously start calling him out - he generally acts.

I'm not seeing it. I preferred Jol, Redknapp, Poch in terms of asthetics. I preferred going on a half season run of title winning form under Conte and spanking Woolwich, Newcastle, Everton etc etc etc.
I don't really enjoy passing for passing sake and seeing nothing much happening at the end of it.
Is what it is, people probably wouldn't have hated Conteball as much if he wasn't ex Chelsea. Just saying.

I trust him to have both eyes on the financial risk of spending even more money on someone.
AVB, Ramos, Poch, Jol. Nono, and probably a good few more were sacked before January.
Conte was comfortably in 4th spot having lost only 4 of 15 prior to the January Window in 22/23
we were 6th when the January window opened with Mourinho but had only lost 3 games and had spent 4 weeks/games top of the league.

It's when we're looking shit he's most likely to pull the trigger and he won't wait until after the window if we look shit before it.

This is all hypothetical of course. We may sort ourselves out and go on a run now.
I just can't see it based on last season and a carbon copy performance against Leicester.
I'd throw in Bayern twice too, but half the team were missing tbf.

He is certainly one for talking big, but so far his team isn't really delivering that big talk.
I like the bloke, I just hope he isn't all hype and no substance.
