i think having royal being the main creative source in the final third was what fucked off people the most. that was painful to watch.
That was the best he had though. We all thought he should be playing Spence, but save for a couple of minutes in pre-season, it seems as though Conte was right.

Conteball was poor in his 2nd season. No escaping it though

yet again though, its a manager not adapting to what he has. theres no way klopp or pep would stick to a system that sees royal getting all the time and space on the ball in the final third.

It was painful to watch at times. It was, in my own opinion, a protest against Levy though.
It was fairly clear Conte wanted a top class RWB and he got Spence.
Petty? 100% but it proved a bit of a point about our transfer business.

I don't like Postecoglou, but with regard to the Leicester City game there were plenty of scoring chances created. If a couple went in Spurs might of won 3-1 and we wouldn't be having this conversation. I really feel like with Everton being such a wreck, this week could be 5-0 and then a lot of people will say how great the system worked. We've got what and who we've got and now we just have to see which way things go. The biggest problem I see this season is Spurs have gotten too young, too quickly. We could do with a few more wise, older heads on the field when things don't go well in stretches.

we both had 2 clear cut chances each. they had 1.15 xG and we had 0.98 xG

I see this has been irking quite a few saying he has talked so much bull and needs to prove his words. Honestly he talked alot is because he speaks perfectly understandable English and is humble. Many will like to interview him and hence we saw so many of the conversations coming from him. Did you ever see people like to interview Poch, Mourinho or Conte to ask them about his ideas, childhood, beliefs etc in their broken or arrogant language?

Cut out all those interviews, all we will ever hear from Ange has been telling us the fans since day one in his aim for the club and the difficulty in achieveing that in the process. How about we just focus more on this sole objective all along and view this entire 1 year he has been here with regards to personnel recruitment, restructuring, style of play etc in this context?
YES, CONCERNING!

And if you talk about doing all the winning, then you need to deliver.

Or, at least, show signs that you're heading there in earnest and know how to get there.

Especially after telling the fans they don't match your ambitions.

And I'm not buying the 'humble' act anymore.

Ange thinks he's the shit and should just be able to rock up to the prem and place his system down and everything will take care of itself.

Absolutely deluded.

Being naïve with an inflated ego is a dangerous mix.

He needs a reality epiphany.

He is not the Jesus Christ of football, here to save the beautiful game.

He needs to wake the fuck up and FIX what's not working.

Everton is a massive game for him.

Already.

I don't want to be in this fucking position.

I would rather be looking forward to the season, fully confident that Ange has got a grip of everything and is in full control.

Somehow we didn't score on one of our 13 corners. Really successful. But I actually agree. We looked better in corners then last season.

Should have scored atleast two though.

One got cleared off the line (somehow!?) and the other was a nice short corner which Son whipped in and Solanke diving header straight at the keeper.

It was nice to see us clearly working on our corners. Both offensively and defensively.

If Ange doesn't make it here, the ones who have been calling for him to fix obvious issues, so he can keep his job, will be blamed by the ones who were telling them to shut up "this is fine".
