Out of interest (and this isn’t asked in an aggy manner, I’m genuinely curious and interested) those who are saying they would get rid of Ange, who are you replacing him with?

He is certainly one for talking big, but so far his team isn't really delivering that big talk.
I like the bloke, I just hope he isn't all hype and no substance.

He's very bullish isn't he. The thing is if results go south the press and fans will turn and I wonder how he will react to it. He seems to have quite thin skin and gets his back up quite a lot with the media. It's all quite jokey but I can how he will get prickly if the pressure builds.

Yes mate, obviously he is an aussie and, they tend to be a bit brash and bullish.
As yet though, I don't know what all the fuss is about, I find him engaging and a good listen but, I have doubts that his system is or will work in the pit face of the Premier league.

Agreed. I also like him as a person, although I'll be honest he has started to grate on me since Xmas. Maybe it's because the results slipped, but I find he seems to overcompensate a bit. Like he's on the defensive a lot. I do think he is feeling the pressure personally.

He talks a good game but we need to see results.

Absolutely.

But in his first number of windows, Klopp was backed with signings of the calibre of Mane, Salah, Wijnaldum, Keite, Van Dijk, Fabinho, Alisson…

All top players in key positions that immediately came in and improved the first 11.

Ange could only dream of receiving players of that calibre…
With the young signings the club has made, after another season or two of good performances, they will be sold and we start over again.

Klopp joins Autumn 15
Mane 16
Wijnaldum 16
Salah 17 (after CL qualification)
Keita 17 (to join in 18, was considered a disappointment)

Van Dijk - Jan 18
(Sells Coutinho in Jan 18)

By this point Klopp had lost 3 finals.
Now here’s where they pull ahead of us:
Fabinho & Alisson, whilst we did absolutely nothing in 2018

First trophy in 19, then the period of relative dominance ensues.

I don’t think the young players we signed this summer will be sold, but when(IF) they do become top players, the likes of Romero, Son, possibly VDV/Udogie/Porro if they keep improving could be after moving on to pastures new.
Good chance we’ll have a new manager, new DOF or Levy will decide again he doesn’t want a DOF, we’ll be onto another new “project” number 759 under ENIC.

We’ve all seen how this story goes.

This is it, once they get to a better level, it's in their interest to look for a big club if, they are serious about challenging or winning anything.

Klopp in his first 3 seasons finished behind Poch. Lost 3 finals, but the Board backed him.

Klopp was an established elite manager in Europe who had earned that kind of time and patience and at that point we were comparable to the current Woolwich team so finishing behind us wasn't that bad.

I also don't think Liverpool were ever as bad as we were for the end of last season. In fact it feels like there was a pretty clear upwards tick throughout his time in charge, they consistently just got better under him the more time he had to coach and the more players that came in.

its easy to talk big, don't think this guy can back it up
but then folks on here will say Levy didn't back him

Levy has %100 backed Ange for the long term. Bergvall, Gray, Odobert, Yang - while moving on PEH, Lo Celso, Skipp, etc etc... These are LONG TERM investments. Even Solanke isn't being bought to contend for the title this year but for when the new squad matures together.

The levels of poisonous contempt from the usual suspects in Spurs fandom isn't surprising but it's pretty fucking embarrassing.

Support the fucking club mate. If Ange doesn't work out we'll know by May next year. Until then - try and be a SUPPORTER rather than a cunt.
