Have staunchly supported Ange up until now, but this afternoon has really tested my patience. It's not all on him, as some of our players' decision-making going forward was abysmal (Son and Kulu particularly guilty). But the defending at this point is unforgivable. If this was a few games into a new managerial reign you could let it slide, but he has had time to address the issues by now and has done nothing.
In this calendar year how many half-decent teams have we actually beaten? I make it just Villa in March (could include the home win against Brighton at a big push). It's not good enough, and we're in desperate need of a statement win.
The NLD really could be make or break. If VDV and Solanke are back, it all clicks and we win, that could be massive and a real turning point (although I'd still worry about any time either of them are out, as we don't seem to have good enough replacements for either). If we lose, it could turn really toxic, and it would already look a long way back to salvage our league campaign (following Brentford after that we have a run of United, Brighton, West Ham, Palace, Villa. Not easy at all).

You know what its starting to remind me a bit of Ossie Ardiles, particulaly 2nd season. Ange is better but there are similarities in the same weak mentality, utter naivity and lack of change. We played alright today but they just had to do a couple of things well and we lost even though they dont look in good nick at all. Its takes such minimal effort to beat us. When someone is on against us you get see why we get walloped.

He just doesn’t have the quality available to him to execute it to a standard that would provide the results Spurs fans believe we should be getting.

Short of relegation trouble, no way is Levy going to ask Ange to go this season. But if we’re mediocre over the course of the season, we may see a change next summer before we start our transfer dealings again.
