I was listening to the radio in the car on they way home and they claimed that VAR is not operational, at least at this stage of the competition, presumably because some of the car park and ploughed field grounds in Godknowswhereistan don't have it. Then I got home and fast-forwarded through the game and at the penalty call a VAR box flashed up, but there was no "check over" or anything.

So I've no idea if it was on or not.
Yeah, me too. Maybe like the FA Cup in some grounds where the cameras are already in place, it's used but if a game is played where it's not available then it's not used????

I don't get why people are moaning about ange. The football is good and he's not going to be sacked anytime soon. Support the team.
I don't think anyone wants him sacked mate.
All people are doing is questioning the defending , the way we are playing is so open , it creates almost end to end stuff.
That's great if your watching as a neutral, but you don't want to end up with high scoring draws or defeats.
Ange isn't getting sacked and, the team probably deserved their slice of fortune last night.
He appears to be an engaging fella, but we are allowed to question things unless ,starmer is trying to takeover the site.

Wouldn't be the first.
Brendan Rodgers when he joined Liverpool

When he was sacked he'd lost weight and had turkey teeth

It seems when a coach gets a decent job in the limelight, they go all TOWIE and start doing wierd shit to their teeth, lose a bit of weight and dress better.

and then there's Mike McDaniel of the Miami Dolphins

They went to VAR for that ludicrous penalty decision against Bissouma so it was definitely on

Said in his press conference he doesn’t always have the final say, in regards to Son’s contract extension being triggered. Got to assume that extends to transfers then. Interesting he let that slip.
Agree, would he really want a bunch of unproven potential at the highest level.
He probably wanted people who, could make a difference now not in four years time.
Most of us suspected this and have mentioned it, we have the kids now so, we have to stick with it.

Why? Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups.

He doesn't have say in whether a 32 year old player nearing the end of their contract renewing... so he doesn't have a say in recruits brought into his squad? I think that's a reach to be honest mate.
