My guess is that’s partly because of the "told you so" disputes that have been going on for the last 2-3 years in this fan base. For some reason people always wanna be proven right and they operate low key when they’re not. It happens with both sets of fans, I mean those who ardently support Postecoglou and those who don’t or have their doubts.

Like I said, I think it’s a conspiracy theory/coping mechanism, no sane person would spend months on a football club’s forum to do what… moan about a club they don’t support?

no, when teams are in the bottom half of the table they are shit. its not subjective its factual, backed up by a table!

'best team in the world' hahahah. anyone would think weve just beat city at their best. dont be such a fool! you can be all happy clappy! i wont be because ive just witnessed utter shit for a year now. we lost to palace just over a week ago and you think thats it now do you because of a win against a city side who didnt care and villa, who funny enough was the same side that we got our last meaningful win against all the way back in MARCH....good for you happy man!

I can see what you’re saying that some people always like to be right, but there are some that never seem to say anything positive about the club they are supposed to support.

There are trolls throughout the internet. You’ve only got to look at the cesspit that is Twatter to see that, so I’m quite sure it’s likely there are some sad muppets that get their jollies from winding up opposing fans.

Exactly. The whole idea is extremely childish and cowardly at the same time.

It's an unfortunate trait that's creeped into the forum over time. Accuse anyone with a critical voice of being a gooner or a troll etc..I've been posting for over 11 years and it never used to be an issue.

Some fans naturally use the forum more when they feel angry or dissatisfied with certain aspects of the club. Others will post more because they like to show their appreciation when things are going well.

If it was all one way or the other, the site would cease to be viable and would probably close down within months.

I think we all know Pep was not that bothered if they lost that game.

At One nil down with 15 minutes left he used his last sub.
And brings on a 19 year old centre back for his debut. Leaving Haaland on the bench.
Didn’t make that particular sub due to injury. He just wanted to blood the kid.

For clarity. At one nil down the best manager in the world brings on a teenage centre back leaving the best striker in the premier league on the bench.

And you think Pep was going all out to win the game?? Really??? If that game was to win the league is that the sub he would have made to win the game in your opinion??

Honestly insane how people can't see this.
He said he "wouldn't waste energy" on the cup. He drops the players he starts most league and CL games. They're losing and he doesn't put any of them on.
But still convince themselves they were trying to get through.

They even lost more players during that game. They're actually struggling physically right now to compete and a league cup is not the cup worth risking more of them.
