So beat Ipswich and we’ll definitely be above either ‘title challenging’ goons or ‘top 4 race leaders’ Chelsea
Could even be above both if they draw?

Would like to see how the Ange out brigade spin that

FFS man, why you gotta go and do that?

Ipwich, who haven't won a game all season, coached by an ex Spur.
You wally, you literally just cursed us.

Anyone got the corners and set piece stats

xg vs xga?
I have, but I’m obsessing about my poll as to whether statistically the number of people who will think I’m a nerd for having them will be greater than think I’m cool.

EDIT : The result is in
Nerd. 99%
Cool 0%

1% said Cunt which wasn’t even an option , ( I will call them spoiled ballots for the sake of my dignity)

I will not be posting them after that

I think we all know Pep was not that bothered if they lost that game.

At One nil down with 15 minutes left he used his last sub.
And brings on a 19 year old centre back for his debut. Leaving Haaland on the bench.
Didn’t make that particular sub due to injury. He just wanted to blood the kid.

For clarity. At one nil down the best manager in the world brings on a teenage centre back leaving the best striker in the premier league on the bench.

And you think Pep was going all out to win the game?? Really??? If that game was to win the league is that the sub he would have made to win the game in your opinion??

This is the problem on here. Even the half sensible posters are mentalists!!
He didn't bring on Haaland to make sure he would score and win the game against Bournemouth.

Because pep knew he wasn't going to do shit against us...

:ange-arms:

I been frustrated with Postecoglou at times this season mainly due to our away form but he's got it right with our home form and back to back wins against good opposition. Deserves credit and hopefully we can push on from it.

He's done nothing wrong subbing Son.

I personally just don't really see wingers as captains they are nearly always subbed, can be streaky, rely on output for confidence but Sonny has personality and he will get on with it.

At the time I couldn’t understand him subbing Son but when interviewed after the game he explained that he was never going to allow to play more than 55 minutes as he was coming back from injury which is fair enough as we have enough crocks as it is!

no, when teams are in the bottom half of the table they are shit. its not subjective its factual, backed up by a table!

'best team in the world' hahahah. anyone would think weve just beat city at their best. dont be such a fool! you can be all happy clappy! i wont be because ive just witnessed utter shit for a year now. we lost to palace just over a week ago and you think thats it now do you because of a win against a city side who didnt care and villa, who funny enough was the same side that we got our last meaningful win against all the way back in MARCH....good for you happy man!
I quite enjoy when we are winning and if that means I’m a happy clapper then so be it but I’d rather be happy at winning than being an utterly miserable cunt who looks for the negatives even when it’s good.

Just letting you into a wee secret here, every win is meaningful.

I'll sit up and take notice if we go and win at their gaff in the league in a few weeks.
I won't take much notice of the league cup game.

Which is your choice - some of us have taken notice though because winning games, no matter what the opponent, no matter which competition is important for our progress and evolution as a team, it breeds confidence for the players and a lot of fans and it should be welcomed for at least that reason.

It feels like some people just don't want us to build a winning mentality whilst at the same time complaining that we don't have one.

Basically when we lose Ange should be sacked and when we win there is always a special reason why we won

It’s getting boring

Why does it have to be one way or the other? People always ends up in the extremes in here. . You last few posters questening whether City cared to win, think there maybe could be a middle road between going all in, and not give a shit?

Not bringing on Haaland, probably had to do with that he can't play every game. Every club being in numerous competitions needs to rotate, to not run the best players into the ground. Also, more players need game time, and the League cup is often used for rotation, especially early rounds, as did we to some degree.

Does that mean City didn't want to win the game? No way.

Yeah I agree and not to mention we went on to win the game with Richarlison contributing to a goal aswell.

Exactly.

We rotated even more heavily vs Coventry - we wanted to win that game.
