You're putting too much value on where they were last season, this season. They're both utter shite right now and we beat them in the midst of that.
If we're looking for positives - it makes a change for us to seize such opportunities. I've seen us go to Old Trafford many times in the past when they're supposedly on their knees and get beat.
The same for Stamford Bridge. They can be an absolute laughing stock and still beat us there.
So it made a change for us to actually take the opportunity to win.
Make no mistake though, what we beat was not last seasons City or Villa. So why get so erect over it?

What a laughable post, and underlines the agenda when you've spent the majority of this season using last season's form to beat Spurs and Postecoglou with.

Any excuse to excuse the failings of our rivals, whilst stating that they're not excuses for the team you, supposedly, support.

Did lose 4-1 to the sporting team Woolwich smashed 5-1 and did just give up a 3 goal lead at home to Feyenoord tbh. Definitely got a good point here.

Also back to back premier league losses to Bournemouth and Brighton. Something clearly deeply wrong there.

Their last win was 1-0 at home .. to Southampton …

It was always Anges decision to not bring a goalie in the summer so this confirmation puts to bed those weird posts about it being the boards decision. The fact that he's categorically stated we are not signing a goalkeeper in January is spectacularly stupid to say the least (could have just left it at us assessing the situation in january). Pure negligence from him and the other coaches (I'm not even sure who our goalkeeping coach is now).

Yeah but we just lost to Palace and Ipswich so i guess, as the battle of the two shittest teams in the league, we still won.

That's not going to happen. That's why we've got a squad of players here. I don't think us signing a free agent now is going to help us. If I hadn't named Fraser in the Europa squad, then jeez that would've been a radical decision.

He didn't say it at all, Romano just made up that quote.

He did say, regarding goalkeepers in Jan window:
"I think any club that gets a significant injury in their goalkeeper kind of assesses where they're at. It's not just another injury"
