Judging by Kulu's interview, I just feel like Ange has finally lost the players and they no longer believe in Ange's awful tactics and in game management.
When you're being run into the ground and still nothing is working, eventually you lose commitment.

The depressing thing is not that it's ending with Ange, it's more about who's going to work for Daniel Levy now? After this carousel of at least half-decent managers who couldn't make anything work under him? Even Nuno is off to happier times now. This job must have the reputation of being a career killer.
We are like the Clippers in the NBA.......

Well at the risk of a fuck ton of derision I'd argue he's over performed with this squad at full strength and is about where most managers would be with this injury affected squad.

I might be wrong but I think this is the worst spurs squad since we brought in the Beatles to replace Bale.

We'll find out soon enough I guess.
Can't say I agree with this take tbh.
Whilst I think it's near impossible in the current set up for any manager to have success in terms of titles, I honestly think the likes of Iraola, Marco Silva, Thomas Frank etc would get more out of this squad of players.

Ange has repeatedly shown a lack of flexibility and inability to learn from his mistakes.
He keeps plodding on regardless with the losses piling up which will be his downfall.

From the biography of Ange Postecoglou

-"Maybe he's onto something" The critics concede. A creeping sense of inevitability starts to build around the team, then around the club, and soon enough outsider sense it too. The sceptics start to believe. Then it starts to look like it's working. Then it starts working. And then it's really working. At this point the players aren't executing tactics anymore; what they are doing becomes part of them. And from then on it tends to take care of itself.-

For what it's worth. I totally agree with this and think we'll start seeing this away at Hull next October. Maybe even in the home game against Bristol City in September if we're really motoring through the process.

Levy is the ultimate problem that’s the truth, Ange doesn’t deserve to be manager at a club of our size that’s a fact.

It was small time appointing him and we are now getting small time results because of it.

Levy is and always has been the problem.
I’m probably going to get mauled here but why is it Levy’s fault?

Ange’s CV was decent and tbh he’s got his plaudits at various times over the last season and a half. Previously he got Mourinho and Conte in and no one was complaining with them initially. Where do you go from there - who was there? Is it because of the money, or lack of it, that he spends? The clubs spent 170m on Richy, Solanke and Johnson. Our net spend is as high as anyone in the league the last 5 seasons. Surely that’s down to our recruiters finding the right players.

So what does Levy need to do to put this right? What manager and players do we need to bring in? I honestly think the only way to bring success to this club is to bring in Guardiola and spend €200m annually and even then it will probably take 3 seasons to do it.

Ange has his flaws, and there’s big question marks over him right now.

But there’s people above him who need to go before him

Even Les Ferdinand said this wasn’t a very clever thing to do. You gain nothing from it other than pissing off a very irate fan base even further
Not the first time he's done something like this either.

This and the look on his face at full time make me wonder if there's something more going on.

I think he's really starting to feel the pressure.

Yeah, I was watching a bit of Ali G’s video the other day and he said that in the post match presser on Sunday, Ange had that worn down look about him which our previous managers have had.

I think he needs to go, but calling him a fat cunt like that is not called for.

The players haven't downed tools.

The problem is Ange, himself, just doesn't have the right tools for the job.

So the players' energy is being channelled badly through inadequate and unsophisticated tactics.

Ange is a stubborn, quietly obnoxious, passive aggressive a-hole.

A deluded old romantic who thinks he's found the key to football and thought he could rock up to the prem with "wait 'til they get a load of me" energy and cement his name in history.

His intentions are earnest, overall, but he's been high as fuck on his own farts for too long and been finally brought down to earth.

Like I've been saying since the end of last season - for Ange's limited way of playing to succeed in the prem, he needs quality technical players throughout the squad.

Not gonna happen here, and no club will take that level of a punt on him, now.
