He says it doesn’t bother him but his actions say otherwise, if it doesn’t bother him why not just clap the away support from the centre of the pitch and that be that?

Instead he walks all the way across the pitch gesturing in an angry manner and decides to have a back and forth with a supporter, that is the very definition of something bothering him lol.

Again, so much false bravado, not sure who he is trying to convince, himself or the supporters.
Hes a miserable fuckwit. I cant wait to get rid. Have been waiting since last spring.

As another poster mentioned. Hes high of his own farts. Deluded prick.

Everyone I suspect. He’s probably about as happy as us.

Turn on Levy - FFS.

No manager at our Club in recent years can really say they weren't backed.

As much as I am unhappy with the up and down nature of how we play etc, I still don't know if I want Ange sacked or not.
I really don't think hiring and firing is working at all, we have had 2 of the best managers in Football and we were still useless at times.
I'm just not sure , the only thing I would say is Ange has at least tried to get some kind of exciting football to watch on occasions and tried to get some kind of footballing identity.
where do we go from here? and who with? and will we be back in the shit in 18 months with another manager?
I’m absolutely with you and have thought the same except… nothing in his past record suggests he will turn this around. He simply lacks the experience at this level. Swapping managers regularly isn’t good for us but I don’t see Ange as the one to hang on with

But I do not expect him to abandon his philosophy.
Why not?

Every other successful manager in the world makes minor adjustments and adapts to the opposition. If he’s not going to change his philosophy, what exactly is the point of having him here? Just get him to write it down on a piece of paper and then we can get Michael Dawson to follow the instructions and give a good pep talk.

He is explicitly stating out loud that he is an obdurate, inflexible dinosaur and everyone is fawning over him.

He will give his all. Of that there is no doubt

Just because the myopic magoos on here want is not quite enough however.

I think Solanke will do well if he has another striker, either in tow or is seen as the lesser striker of the two.

I don't think he can carry, or deal with the main striker tag.. I might be wrong but that's how I see it.
He's not quite dynamic enough to make stuff happen all by himself, but he can be the best target man anyone on our team has or ever will play with. He will score on an open net. He will pass unselfishly to you. He will do all the nasty takedown work and holdup play against thuggish CBs you could ever want. He presses like a monster, and he will run the channels for you too.

I question peoples understanding of football who are worried about Solanke's value to our squad. It should be rather obvious, especially compared to the alternatives and their relative costs in the league.

Im an aussie and I don't think much of Ange. Typical Aussie soccer type. A fucking know it all with a chip on his shoulder. Aussie brag and big note when it comes sport. Celebrate it even. Unlike with A only after they've proved it by fucking winning. What fucking clown gets around like the sage when he's getting his arse handed to him?

Ange always to me seems to be trying to be like Wayne Bennett (rugby league coach). Saying wise and sage words. Even heard Ange use one of his lines about twelve months back. Difference is Bennett a fucking winner and born coach. A true coach is a coach. Matters not the sport. It's about getting the best out of people.

Ange should give Bennett a week of coaching his team. I bet he works out in a day angel game strategy is doomed fail. He would tell ole Ange why the fuck are you pushing something of such high risk in an attempt to get something you have a low probably of getting. Ange my man the risk reward sum don't add up. And you've put half your team in hospital attempting to keep this stupid constantly going. Do you not know the more it goes the higher chance of fucking you?

Ain't none smarter than the Ange man. He says attack more we need goals. Do more of whats fucking us to overcome the original fuck up. He'll none will question why teams without our ability the set a basic defence always beat us. None can tell me about the diabolical maths against my football revolutionary theory carved in stone.

Bennett would say, Ange my man, next time you lift a game from a different sport read the fucking fine print you fucking dill. Sports have defence and attack yes. Differing games have differing objectives of priority. If you understood this you wouldn't send out a team to play something that is mathematically not only not helping them it's fucking hurting. You have written the blueprint of their demise. The maths tell me this.

I got nothing against this bloke personally. Anyone that thinks he's anywhere near close to sage thinks a lot a shit. My guess is mostly wrong shit.

It’s just so unnecessary.

He obviously cares. I don’t know why he tries so hard to pretend otherwise.

To state ‘I’m not going to change’ is to run counter to every elite coach (across all sports) that thrives on adapting, evolving and getting continuously better.

Is it?

Almost zero elite coaches change their philosophy and principles. And Almost zero elite coaches give a fuck if anyone likes their philosophy if they aren't coaching them.

I disagree with every line in your post.
Ange's philisophy is that we will pass the ball forward at all times and aim to score more than our opponents.
You can't tinker with that. You either do it or you don't.

I don't know mate, you'd have to ask him. Maybe he feels the fans deserve the respect of having someone to take a pop at?

He was saying that he's not the type to just sneak off down the tunnel after a pile of steaming shit like that. I can respect that, even if it probably wasn't smart.
