He's just got no answers when all out attack isn't working. As soon as maresca figured it out and made changes he effectively stood there for 60 odd minutes looking stupid letting it happen and not a clue how to change it.

That’s because his whole mantra is that they know what they are supposed to do and he doesn’t want to get a cheap result we didn’t earn.

Amateur hour.

He's a walking dead man but can anyone tell me whats the best case scenario if we sack him in the morning?

Because my guess is we have no back up plan and we'll end up with Ryan Mason as head coach. Daniel Levy doesn't pay for managers so he's not going to fork out for iraola, Frank or Silva. All would cost a fortune to get mid season. So the other alternatives are Southgate or Potter who none of us should want!

So before you come on here shouting "ANGE OUT". Please tell me the plan? If we sack him tomorrow morning what do we do?

He's a terrible manager who doesnt learn a damn thing every game.
It's absolute madness - does he think if he just persists then somehow it will magically work?

The least pragmatic manager i've ever seen, an absolute clown.

Personally think he will be given until the Carabao cup quarter final.

Problem is i dont see him winning any games until then, the team is decimated with injury. I think his style can produce when we have our full compliment of players, but nobody gets afforded that.

Rangers, Southampton, Man U. These are the big 3 now. Either way its all going to come to a head by Christmas. That said im not convinced anyone is coming in and doing better.

BTW when Brennan went down injured, he should have brought on Maddison instead of Werner and moved Kulusevski to the right. We started the second half very poorly so we needed to tweak to that system. Once again he got the inplay substitutions wrong

Should be sacked tonight.

No discipline across the entire team, terrible game management, dangerous management of returning players to try and save his own skin, disturbingly bad form across the season and the end of last season.

This man is out of his depth at this level and doesn’t deserve to be the manager of this football club and that’s not even getting into how unlikeable he is as a person, most insufferable manager I can remember in recent memory at this club.

When he goes, Levy can go along with him as well, hiring this man was ridiculous in the first place and such an amateur hour move, you wouldn’t find another top club doing something as ridiculous as hiring someone to be manager with such a slim CV.

Line up an alternative before you sack him. It’s not going to change much waiting a few more weeks.
Mason as interim basically tells the players, you’re all useless cunts but don’t worry the manager will go and you can keep being useless cunts.

So what do you suggest? We stick with him and possibly finish 15th and get dumped out of the cups? Because that’s looking pretty likely right now.

To risk Romero and VDV to save himself, go 2-0 up and still get embarrassed is quite some achievement. Tactically outclassed again. Others managers adjust we just blindly do the same thing over and over. We pressed great for 15 minutes but there is nothing else.

Its clearly when not if now so can we do it whilst we're still in the cups and preferably not in the bottom 5 or 6.

Maresca took off his best player at half time and 15 minutes later they were level.

If roles were reversed there's no way Ange changes it like that. It's basically the full second half showing. Everyone can see whats going to happen (even Merson ffs) and our answer to changing the game is Timo Werner.
