My point was that Venables sold Ruddock for £50k I think and bought him back for x15 that figure. Ruddock should never have been sold back to Millwall while Venables bought the likes of Fenwick, Cundy, Austin and Edinburgh.

Venables transfer dealings diluted the quality of the Spurs squad he inherited and the only transfers in of note were Gascoigne, Lineker, Sheringham, Anderton and Barmby who although young did sign for Venables despite United wanting him.

Can't write too much tonight, feel happy but so confused after this game, but sending my respect to Ange, he was spot on with squad and tactics 2nd game in the row.
