Spot on.

I’ve had concerns with things that have happened under Ange, although I would say a lot of that is player error - that isn’t his fault.

Overall, he is exactly the manager we need. He just gets it. He’s got the influence to create an underdog/siege mentality in us.

Could he be more flexible? Yes. But this way of playing seems so daft, that it probably will pay dividends eventually
We should have some concerns. Always will without an almost perfect record.

But, it’s looking like ENIC aren’t going to pony up the cash for us to compete for the very best players, so we have to try something different.

A mental manager and a wild method of playing may be the thing.

Man, there’s maybe ten posters left on here that swallow your fucking bullshit. Everyone else knows the script by now. I’d be embarrassed to show myself on here if I were in your position. I’d have slimed back under the rock I came from long before now. Got to give you credit for the brass neck though.

makes me laugh reading idiots talk about player errors lol. the kamikaze tactics puts unnecessary stress on certain players and guess what stress causes???

if you're going to keep asking forster to play out you're going to get cheap goals against you. 3-0 up and ends up being 4-3 and a goal that wouldnt of been given had VAR been in use.

to be fair, hes got some cult idiots, the other lot are just idiots who just haven't got a clue what they are talking about anyway lol. player errors....,

Guys, can we just chill a bit... you can be Ange out and still celebrate a win like last nights. The two are not exclusively mutual. Do I think Ange is right for us? - No, too many weak displays against piss poor teams
Do I think Ange will win a trophy for us? - No, but I really hope he does... and if he does... I'll proclaim him as the second coming
Do I think Ange has been dealt a rough hand - 100%, transfer window left him short and the injuries and suspensions have hurt
Do I want us to lose to force a managerial change - 1000% NO, I never want us to lose!!!
Do I still celebrate when we win - Damn right I do!!! But my view on Ange won't change unless I can see some evidence that we can consistently beat teams with far inferior budgets / players than us
If we lose, do I sit here saying I told you so? - No, because I don't tell any fan how to fan (terrible US saying)... I have my views, you have yours and we can co-exist no problem

Obviously, I’m not convinced Ange is the man for the job based on the evidence we’ve seen so far. That said, while I’m not sold on him, my opinions are never rigid, nor will they ever be on any subject.

If I Strip away my personal feelings about the man’s personality and his ridiculous statements that he makes at times, then it ultimately boils down to results. I’m open to being won over by a genuine run of consistent form—though to be clear, it’ll take more than just two or three wins in a row to sway me personally.

At the end of the day, I just want what’s best for the football club, and I’ll back whoever I believe can deliver that, I can respect that everyone has a different opinion on this though and have no issue with people believing he is the right man, my problem is always with people ignoring obvious issues (which I believe anybody genuine would recognise) but the same is also to be said for people who can’t recognise any positives.

Logical and humble opinion, refreshing to say the least my friend.

Ange isn't a sage, and he's not a dud. I think he's a pretty good manager learning some harsh realities in the best football league in the world.

He's got a lot going for him but he does have some points. I think most people make valid points about what the like and dislike about his style.

End of the day nobody should be losing consistently to much lower standard teams. Nobody should be losing at spurs level being 2 or 3 nil up. It's unexceptable and something is going wrong and needs to be sorted.

Don't understand his reluctance of games manship. He's an Aussie over 50 and so am I. cheating in sport, foul play etc was not only accepted it was highly respected. If you didn't do what it takes you obviously liked losing.

We did start out as a convict colony after all. Mate you what some of them rules things, write a letter to the Marquis of Queensbury! find that inner Aussie demon Ange!

The problem is that this place becomes overly toxic when we are losing games where certain accounts take over. So after a win its nice to see some positivity to balance out all the negativity. The same negative accounts seem annoyed about anyone on here being happy about the win, and that is where these arguments are constantly breaking out. I try my best to avoid them and mostly do but every now and again I bite the bait.

You sound like a reasonable poster and you are fully entitled to your opinion whether that is Ange in or Ange out. I'm Ange In but I totally understand why someone would be Ange Out given how frustratingly inconsistent our season has been. These discussions are good but as you said we should all be happy after a win. There really should be no negativity on here for 24 hours after win and anyone posting the negative comments well... You'd have to question what their real motive is!

Another great post full of common sense, reasoning, and well thought out points without resorting to personal attacks and insults. 👏 👏

Post of the Month nomination for December 🎅

Fair play, there's been a few today. And much needed to neutralise the tsunami of absolute shite posted by a handful of others.
